There was nothing wrong with the hostel and the breakfast was good. My only complaint would be that the atmosphere does not promote social interaction at all.
Toilets are clean, but the showers are rather dirty. Doors won't close properly and the floor is always wet. Only one electric outlet available in the room to be shared by 6!
It is far from train station. But the hostel is comfortable and the staffs are nice
Excellent breakfast buffet. WIFI is only in common areas.
Only stayed one night but the atmosphere was nice and staff were helpful. The shower was really nice and the towels were free of charge, which is always a bonus. Excellent breakfast! You can walk anywhere very easily. Overall, a good stay.
Pretty standard hostel...a bit of a ways from the train station, but close to old town and the castle. The free breakfast is bacon and eggs, which is amazing for a hostel.
Them bastards charged me 4 euros extra when i booked an other night at the reception. Obviously they have a special price if you book through hostelWorld, but its much more expensive if you book the bed in the hostel.
Only stayed here for one night so not overqualified to judge but found the staff to be a little bit overworked and therefore not totally helpful. The poor girl from reception was exhausted and trying to run the bar and reception at the same time (= large waiting times). The place felt too big and soulless with quite a varied clientele, from school camps to older travelers. Good for a quick stopover and decent night sleep but wouldn't stay long. The buffet breakfast was a win though!
Place is like a decent hotel. Staff are nice an stuff. But this isn't a hostel where you can socialise and meet people. There are families and school kids staying here. Not ideal for lone travellers
More of a hotel then a hostel, no kitchen etc, but for the price it is very nice. The free breakfast would easily be worth five euros elsewhere. Very helpful staff.
some staff was not nice..!!

I was pretty disappointed with this hostel. I had paid for an 8 person room and it turns out all their rooms are 12 person rooms. The lockers but were fine. There were only 2 outlets in the room. The showers were TERRIBLE. Bathrooms were not cleaned often. The washer and dryer didn't have instructions in English and the dryer didn't work at all, just ate our money. The staff was not helpful. We needed to check in @ 2 and requested such, but weren't allowed until 5pm. Too much $ for what we got.
It has a very good location and has everything what people need. It was very nice to stay at Jufa Salzburg.
Loved the breakfast but otherwise, staff were not very friendly. My door card stopped working EVERY SINGLE NIGHT I stayed in. It was really annoying. Lots of large student groups on school trips around if that is what you fancy. My room smelt really bad everyday, ventilation was poor, and it was dark.
Really good stay here in this hostel, only thing wanted to point out is that my key card was not working everyday when i came back and had to ask the staff for help, other than that everything is just perfect.

It was so great but the one outlet in every room got to be a pain. Other than that it was very nice. We loved Salzburg.
The place was really clean and felt quite safe, as it is Salzburg the city is small enough that it didn't matter that we were a but on the outskirts. Its a big hostel, with a relatively excellent cafeteria for complementary breakfast. A little too big of a hostel but still overall very good.
