Very nice location at Elbe riwer.Good breakfast. Staff is very kindly.Less than 10 minutes with S-bahn to Hamburg Centralstation. One thing that is disturbing are the groups of schoolchildren who are very noicy late in the evening. The teachers should take more responcibility to get them more quite after 22.00 at night.Nice to see them daytime though.

The location is great!! The hostel has also a family environment. The breaksfast is included and it was really good. The bad thing is that we asked for a room for three and we got separated.... also it was in a room for only women and we ended up in a mixed room.... but as an overall I recommend it!!

We were a group of six people and had a dorm ensuite for the six of us. The room was nice and everything was very clean. The location is great, very close to the underground station "Landungsbrücken", to the "Hafencity", to the city, etc. The breakfast buffet was great as well. The only bad thing was that people over 27 had to pay 4 Euros more per night. Unfortunately, this is only written in terms and conditions and does not appear in the balance when you book. So take care. Great place!!!

No free WIFI, you have to pay €5,- per hour! The management of the hostel is still living in 1998!

We were very disappointed with this hostel. The location was good as was the view over the harbour. The breakfast was also good but was only from 7-9am, which is pretty early for backpackers. The "kitchen" was a microwave and stove in the basement and it smelt quite bad, with basically no cutlery or utensils to use either. The kitchen was closed on the last few days of our stay without prior warning, very annoying for someone who wants to cook. Also the lack of wifi and the overpriced internet.

Charged me 4 euros more as I am over 27, ridiculous. The stamp machine doesn't return changes, so I bought so many useless stamps.
