Clean with friendly staff, but WiFi would have improved the stay.

The hostel was very good generally. The location is good (~10 mins walk to the Rathaus), the hostel is clean and the breakfast is a nice extra. Only criticism is lack of free WiFi. It may sound like I'm being picky, but in this day and age I think charging for WiFi in Hostels/Hotels is something that shouldn't be done. Thankfully, Lubeck has a good citywide WiFi that you can use in the centre, but it would have been nice to have it in the hostel (for free).

Definitely not a hostel to meet people and enjoy the atmosphere but clean rooms and short walk to town. Great breakfast to start the day.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Julia. The hostel is in a residential area outside the old city, so it is peaceful. But five minutes walk or less puts you into the old city and all the sites. An excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, great showers. The guest kitchen is small, but apparently not used much. It serves. As does the laundry. A very satisfying stay.

This was probably the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. The bathrooms were dirty, the staff was unhelpful, there was no atmosphere, and the location wasn't the greatest. Unfortunately there aren't many options for hostels in Lübeck but if you can find somewhere else to stay I would suggest doing so.

The kitchen was equipped but a little icky. The reason I gave a low number for atmosphere is because the hostel doesn't provide an area that invites travelers to come together. It is primarily a conference hostel, or family hostel. Not a backpacker hostel.

Very bad value for money. For 25 euros you get a poor timer shower, no WiFi - only in the commen area (costs money and hardly works) and very standard rooms. Breakfast was good....

Really friendly staff. A bit of a walk into the old town area. Really good no nonsense place to stay. If you are after nightlife this is definitely not the place though.
