Reviews & Ratings Explained
The rating percentage is calculated from customers who booked within the last 12 months.
All ratings and reviews are based on the feedback and opinions of the customers who submitted them and do not express the opinions of Hostelworld.com. This way, you get an up-to-the-minute opinion of just how good a hostel really is.

I generally find hostels to be more than adequate for my needs, so an "average" rating is actually quite good. The location of Jumbo Stay is ideal if you have a late arrival or early departure from ARN. If you're visiting Stockholm, the location is much less than ideal.

The location is a little far away from the centre. But if u wanna try new experience like staying a flight:) u should try there. i just stayed for one night. And to go to the hostel, i have to pay almost 16 euros for bus because the location of the hostel is arlanda airport. But it was still good experience. The atmosphere is so good. if u r boring staying regular hostels, u can try here for one night:))

This place is unique because of its concept. To stay in a hostel that is inside an airplane is quite an experience! But, because os this, the baths were really small, for example, and when somebody took a shower, the bathroom turned out completely wet. Cleaning was not the highest point, too. But the bed was perfect! Really confortable! And about the location, it`s perfect - only if you have a plane to catch. If you want to spend the day in Stockholm city center, you'll need to make a 50km way.

Not exacly cheap for a hostel, but it is close to the airport, free shutlebuss to the airport. Comfortable beds and the place was clean and seems professionally run. I arived late, and to not disturbe the already sleaping guests the reseptionist moved me to a empty room, werry toughtfull of him.

Jumbo hostel is an incredible place and a must try for one and all. Me and my wife were thrilled as we reached the hostel (both our fathers are pilots which made the idea of staying in an aircraft even more exciting) The hostel is just a 5 min drive from the airport (there are free shuttle busses from the airport every 10 mins). The hostel is about 40 mins from the city centre. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The cockpit suite is great but we stayed in the blackbox suit, which is more spacious.

quite cold in the room under the wings. also, your booking engine does not work well with safari (mac): there are issues with the calendar and you can easily book the wrong date

This is such a impressive dream come true, to re-cykle a Jumbo-jet! And it's done i a very very professional and stylish way. A one-in-a-liftime experience?

Seems that my VISA Credit-Card was 'Hacked' sometime during my stay there... My bank noticed the large number of illegal charges shortly afterwards, and turned-off my card to prevent further abuse... In spite... I enjoyed the stay, and will come back again... Thank You...

Great place. Arrived with an (very) early plane (they had 24 hours check in) and got some hours of great sleep (very comfortable beds), a shower (onboard of a plane, whohoo) and a breakfeast (simple but enough) before going back to the airport with the free bus. Departed with another plane at noon. Excellent, and just what I needed!

It is RIGHT next to the airport, easy shuttle (~5 min) takes you to the hostel. I just needed a place to shower and sleep for a few hours during a layover and this place was absolutely perfect. Clean& the free breakfast was great. Also, I thought it was really neat to sleep in a converted 747... What a great idea! My room was TINY (2 bunkbeds), but this wasn't a problem.

Highly recommend with very friendly staff in a unique setting. Like the way the rooms are adapted but it retained the character of an aircraft - I loved the overhead bins for luggage storage and the breakfast room in the nose of the aircraft.

I have stayed here 3 times and cab drivers in Stockholm never know where it is - maybe a sign on the highway?
