This was a very relaxing place to stay. It's located in the center of Ubud, which is a very bustling and busy area, but once you're in the vicinity of the hostel, all the noise is gone. The only things I heard were birds and lizards! I had a big, spacious room with a fan and hot water. There were a few insects around, but that's expected in a tropical climate. They were very helpful in booking tours and boats, and I never felt like I was being ripped off (make sure you read the fine print).
The staff here were so nice, and they were willing to help you of any problems. Each room was facilited with a balcony, where the scenery was nice. It;s a good lesure to stay in the balcony and think nothing.
Very nice with friendly staff and a delicous breakfast! Crepe and fruit salad is simple but I loved it. Staff always want to help you with booking bus tickets or renting scooters or whatever you might want, just like anywhere in Bali, but they arent pushy about it. Location is a bit hard to find, especially after dark in the rain. When driving on Monkey Forest Rd, look for a green sign "ERA 21" on the left. Take the laneway next to that shop, Arjuna Lane, and Jungut is 100m down on the right.
