Staff here was great, relaxed, friendly. Rooms felt little tired, but showers and toilets were new and very clean. A bit out of the centre, and a walk from nearest station, but a good supermarket (on the right, down little road, coming from the station) is good for fresh food. Private Japanese bath a nice touch. I actually really enjoyed my stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was just what we needed for what we were doing. We had a traditional Japanese twin room which was fun to experience. We were on a floor with shower and bathroom facilities which was good. We used the laundry facilities too which were good. The staff were helpful and we had no problems or complaints. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo.

I\'ve stayed here for a week while looking for a long term residence and the accomodation at Juyoh Hotel resulted cheap and nice. My room was a small single room with tatami and a futon, but it was just what I needed. The location is not centric, but you can get to Shibuya in about 45 minutes using the metro or JR (having a JR nearby is a nice thing since it closes later than the metro lines). Also there are some good little places to eat ramen nearby. All in all, a good/cheap place to stay.

We stayed here 3 nights and we had a great time: the hostel is quite close to the Tokyo metro, JR line and very close to a couple of convenience shops, moreover it's at a walking distance to Asakusa; staff was friendly and helpful; the room was a bit small but clean and the futon beds and buckwheat pillows were really comfortable! good value for money.

Best hostel ever. Super kind staff, lots of free of charge facilities, friendly atmosphere, people from all over the world hanging out like cool housemates. You really wouldn't call this a hostel, it's more of a budget hotel with really great and cheap fares! Thumbs up!

Juyoh is a nice place to stay and the staffs are helpful and friendly.Only one thing is the light in the room is a bit too dim for me as I need to read some books.

Juyoh was great! The staff were so friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and at home. The rooms were clean, comfortable and bright. We really enjoyed our stay there and we appreciated the English keyboards with the computers. ^^

I went during winter time and it was pretty cold for me however I was surprised by the heater in room and the cleanliness for the shared bathroom. It was really very clean and I even felt guilty after bathing and leaving strands of my hair around, so I ended up picking every strands I left to leave it as clean as possible for the next user. The futons provided was comfortable and I love the lift the most.

The location is quite good but a bit far from hustle & bustle of Tokyo (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Roppongi). My heater is not working properly so I ended up sleeping in 4 winter nights (not a very pleasent experience). The lounge area is quite comfy but somehow has that feel of discouraging conversation (come to an understanding where I think TV should be banned from any hostel lounge). Staff is helpful but very straightforward type of folks, not that it's bad. Value for money is undefeatable though.

No complaints whatsoever. Room was simple, but fine, shower and bathroom facilities were shared but I never had to wait. Towels, shampoo, conditioner etc were provided. There is a communal and kitchen area which I personally did not use, but it's good that there is the opportunity to meet fellow travels. Many guests appeared to use it. It's a bit away from the city center, and about a 10 minute walk to the train. I didn't mind. Lots of Japan / travel books and resources available. Thanks!
