good hostel. free pick up from train station. just go to information centre near train station and I could call for free to the hostel. the staff in hostel are in good mood, I felt the staff was happy to work there. The guy in reception is always smilling. There is a girl a reception who looks like a Thai girl. very openminded person. she gave me some advice to travel to Thailand. how to use tuk tuk ... dont hesitate to stay in this hostel.

They're very helpfull and gentle, the pick up service at the train station is really comfortable and the price is good. The room have space enough for everybody who live in and toilette and bathroom are tidy and clean. Moreover, they have a huge Kitchen where coffee and tea are for free ( you are free to give an offer if you wish) and an even bigger living/dining room full with couches, table and tatami area. We loved it!

Great free pick up service. Staff are friendly and helpful, they would provide you the map once you arrive. Shower rooms and toilet are clean. Traditional japanese styled room with a little balcony, can sleep with tatami. the only thing is wifi on the second floor didn't work so we had to barely use the wifi of 3rd floor. Overall it is a great place to stay.

An excellent place all round, helpful staff, great hostel with a huge well equipped kitchen and large lounge and eating area - dorms fine. Being a physically large hostel it gives a real sense of space. Good facilities including 4 good computers and bikes.

A little bit big and corporate feeling, but everything else was great. A leisurely stroll down to the lake or local restaurants. The staff and facilities were excellent. Great kitchen

This hostel is really nice. Staff speaks english, they are nice and helpful. I was so helped when i arrived late to the hostel, they provided the room key since i've confirmed them. Atmosphere and cleanliness is good. The room and building also good and bright. The only thing is difficult to connect the WiFi.

Nice hostel with good facilities but I don't like the fact that they charge to store luggage when the room prices are hardly cheap. Some staffing issues most were very helpful but when we first checked there was a long wait with a bit of confusion about our altered booking and for a while were told we had to pay for a shower before 3pm but then that was rectified later and we were allowed to shower free of charge. Saying that, it was very clean, comfy beds and nice big clean kitchen/seating area

Having stayed at K's House at Asakusa, I knew I could trust that every other branches would be more or less just as good. Indeed this one too. Just a slight comment on the location, it is just a short walk of 5-8 minutes to the main bridge where you can take a really good photo of Mt. Fuji. However, walking to the train station can take 15 minutes if you walk very fast or about 20 minutes or more for a first timer so it's not suitable to walk if you are carrying big luggage.

The hostel was amazing. You will have a huge kitchen, a very nice living room and clean bathroom. There was just only one negative aspect. The city is pretty small and boring. I would recommend, if you want to relax, this hostel is wonderful, but if you look for advantures, you don´t need to stay at kawaguchiko for one night.

Directions given to the hostel were slightly out...need to add in one more cross road before arriving at K's House. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to go and we timed it in well with some local fireworks...just great for the kids!

Best hostel in all of Japan. Seriously. They pick you up from the train station and take you to it! It was right next door to the cutest onsen. Great view of Mount Fuji. Warmest hostel in all of Japan. Excellent facility, lots of showers and space for everyone!

Great place to stay at! We stayed at a 9-person dorm but the rooms were roomy and cozy. Clean toilets, great atmosphere, and very friendly and knowledgeable staff! I especially like the sweet looking common room. Hung out there with some very nice travellers. The only (potential) downside is that the hostel is a ways off from the nearest station, but this is remedied by the free van service they offer to and from it! (check-in & check out). Highly recommended!

The staff at this hostel were friendly and helpful, and the beds and showers were BIG! It was a 15-20 minute walk from the train station, but when you are checking out the staff offer a shuttle service. There's also a bar affiliated with the hostel, and some of the attractions are actually much closer to the hostel than the train station. I would recommend hostel to anyone interested in going to Kawaguchiko.
