K's house was everything you could ask for in a hostel. Super friendly staff who are happy to pick you up from the train station, clean facilities, comfy beds and a fun atmosphere. We had an awesome five nights in Kawaguchiko, thanks K's house!

Had a great stay here, right round the corner is a hot spring which was lovely. The staff are extremely helpful and speak good English. The kitchen facilities are really good and the kitchen is really spacious. :)

As a whole it's grand. The kitchen is great and the common area is awesome but there just wasn't much of an atmosphere but I think that's because people are so tired from after hiking Fuji haha! But it's in a good location. Walkable from the bus/train station. Close to the main street of restaurants and supermarkets. The staff are lovely, and so friendly to chat to. The rooms and facilities are good.
Although it is a bit far from the train station, they have a pick up service for free. Also you have nearby conveniences stores, supermarkets and restaurants if you don't mind a 5-10 minute walk. The hostel is quite spacious and the facilities are very clean and well kept. The bycicle rental is a bit expensive but its the best way to move around the lakes. Nice and relaxing environment. The staff is really helpful and fun. They should however improve the light isolation in the dorms.
There is a huge kitchen and living space at k's and you can use them even after checkout. The bedroom and bathroom were average and western style - the room had a nice balcony where you could dry towels etc.
Nice hostel, friendly staff, great atmosphere!
The hostel was close to Mt Fuji (20 km) and close to the 5 lakes. Not a lot of privacy in the rooms. The showers were ok, the hostel was really clean. Too bad there was no bar. Ok in general!
Very nice place to stay if you intend to climb fuji san or visiting the lakes.
Nice hostel with good facilities. A little out of the way if all your going to do is climb Fuji.
Really nice hostel. Rooms are nice, kitchen and living area are fantastic. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed stay here. Very chilled feel.
My favourite of the ks house hostels - and I stayed in 5!!!! Great , warm place. Staff fab and very helpful. Sorted Fuji climb and booking of mountain hut for the night. Definitely will return one day
Great hostel, in line with all the Ks hostels in Japan. Really a fantastic hostel chain.
Really nice hostel! They had sessions for calligraphy, origami, painting and cooking lessons during the night I was there and it was a nice way to meet people and learn the culture!
All worked perfectly and free shuttle service to station was nice!
Arthur was the friendliest staff member!! Great guy! But regarding to other hostels the rest of the staff were either okay to not friendly! And that in Japan?! ;) 15 min walk from the station, close to one of the Fuji lakes! Rooms were nice and clean, great kitchen, lots of space in the fridges and the common area was perfect to meet people! Go on the Sake tour in a small local brewery not far from the hostel! Great experience and just 4 euros!!
Great hostel and pick up service from the station is a great touch, considering the location is quite a walk. Helpful and friendly staff. What's great about k's house is that there are large social areas so you can relax and also meet new people.
K's House Mt. Fuji was the only hostel that had the distinctive hostel feeling to it. While other hostels in Japan are mostly used like hotels (by families and groups), K's House had lots of backpacker who wanted to climb Fuji. The staff was very helpful, and the deluxe dorms almost felt like private rooms with the curtains. Book in advance, especially on weekends during climbing season.
