Really nice hostel! They had sessions for calligraphy, origami, painting and cooking lessons during the night I was there and it was a nice way to meet people and learn the culture!
All worked perfectly and free shuttle service to station was nice!
Arthur was the friendliest staff member!! Great guy! But regarding to other hostels the rest of the staff were either okay to not friendly! And that in Japan?! ;) 15 min walk from the station, close to one of the Fuji lakes! Rooms were nice and clean, great kitchen, lots of space in the fridges and the common area was perfect to meet people! Go on the Sake tour in a small local brewery not far from the hostel! Great experience and just 4 euros!!
Great hostel and pick up service from the station is a great touch, considering the location is quite a walk. Helpful and friendly staff. What's great about k's house is that there are large social areas so you can relax and also meet new people.
K's House Mt. Fuji was the only hostel that had the distinctive hostel feeling to it. While other hostels in Japan are mostly used like hotels (by families and groups), K's House had lots of backpacker who wanted to climb Fuji. The staff was very helpful, and the deluxe dorms almost felt like private rooms with the curtains. Book in advance, especially on weekends during climbing season.
Brilliant places with like minded people. Close to convenience stores and easy walking distance from the station. Free pickup service is a brilliant addition and the drop off service is also brilliant. The hostel is cleaned rigorously and is also comfortable for all.
A very good stay. The staff was very welcoming and help me a lot !! I recommand this place !

Lovely hostel with great common area and and clean dorms. Dorms had lockers and plenty space for rucksacks and staff were and helpful. Free computer access also, recommend !
Wonderful staff and an excellent hostel. Love the pod style beds and the traditional sitting and dining area
Great hostel if heading up Fuji, good sized common room with nice atmosphere
Fantastic experience. Perfect location, helpful staff with loads of information about the area and climbing Mount Fuji - also pickup and dropoff from the train station!
Disclaimer: I only stayed for one night, so I didn't have too much time to get a feel for the place. However, the employees were friendly, and the location was perfect. I chose K's house as I had plans of climbing mount Fuji the day after. The station is within walking distance and the hostel offers morning rides as well in case you don't feel like walking. Seemed like a cozy, clean place to stay with a nice atmosphere.
Thank you very much for the nice time and for this nice experience we had made!!
The facility is very nice and I really enjoyed my stay. However, I struggled to connect to the wifi. In addition, some of the dorm rooms can get very hot.
Seems like one of the better options for those looking to hike the Yoshida trail up Fuji. Merely asking the front desk how to make a reservation at one of the hotel huts near the summit resulted in an reservation not more than five minutes later, which put my mind at ease. I appreciated my time here resting before the ascent, gleaning facts from the other hikers of what was to come.
Really nice place with really helpful and friendly staff. I would highly recommend it
A great hostel!! Right next to Mount Fuji. The dorms are capsule style with a curtain - very private and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a large kitchen area plus a dining area and space to watch TV.
