Great location, cool setup but could definitely do with a better place to watch dvds than in the reception doorway, also no real bar or restaurant. Maybe get that big fireplace started as its starting to get nippy. A nice place to get away from Litjang and its hordes of tourists. Just a vanride away at 4 km from Litjang, having the same architecture, it is just nice not to get the feeling of being co;pletely closed in by crowds. Good accomodation and the promised services which are very helpful for anyone not knowing chinese. The staff even helped me with a train ticket from Kunming to Guilin. If you have to catch a bus in Litjang in the morning, count on 45 minutes with public transport, 20 minutes cabA nice place to get away from Litjang and its hordes of tourists. Not really helpful staff - they should have had an area map. Though they did their best at the rest. Dirty showers.
