This place is fine. Common area is narrow and strangely unsocial (I think because everyone is either arriving or leaving Peru) rooms are quite small and dark, breakfast is ok for South America but very bitter coffee. Staff are nice, place is pretty clean and secure. Wifi is poor in the end rooms - no reception for me. Dinner stir fries are excellent and very cheap. I didn't like Lima at all and I suggest to get out as soon as the jet lag lifts, this place will do just fine in the meantime :)
It was a nice hostel. There was a hairless dog, pisco, that owned the place. He was cool. Breakfast was really good. Showers were too high tech for me and they werent hot like other recommendations. Internet was down from the isp so the reviews on awesome net I didn't see. (Never mentioned internet before) Brwakfast was really good. Fruit, make your own oj, peanut butter, some granola musli. Pretty good hostel.
Very beautiful and well situated hostel. Nice and helpful staff ! A great place to stay in Lima

Clean, friendly, great location. Definitely recommend and be sure to try the dinner it's amazing!
The hostel has an amazing decor that makes you feel comfortable the moment that you step in the door. Staff were always friendly and everything was very clean. The location is great, in between Miraflores' main square and the beach. There is also a massive supermarket around 4min walk away. The breakfast was unique but extremely tasty. We would definitely stay at Kaclla again if we were to return to Lima.
We stayed at Kaclla for four nights on our arrival in Lima. We could not have found a better hostel. Staff are really nice and very helpful when trying to organize trips downtown etc. Breakfast is great, internet is quick, etc. The terrace really is as nice as it appears in the photos. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Miraflores.
A great hostel if you want some time to chill out and relax. The guests and staff are really friendly and the breakfast is great, especially the homemade quinoa granola. My only criticism would be that the water pressure in the showers isn't great and in one of the showers the water is boiling hot. Otherwise my stay there was fantastic, my bed was comfy, clean sheets and clean rooms, plug socket next to my bed and wifi throughout the hostel. I will be booking in again on my return to Lima.
Very nice hostel, the dorms had no lock on the door, however there were lockers (provide your own lock) in the rooms. Bed was super comfy and there was a clothes drying rack and mirror in the room (always nice). One downside, which is going to sound a bit odd, the window was more of a sky light and it rained overnight - my friend was in the bed underneath and got hella rained on! Funny in retrospect but at 3am when the rest of the dorm is asleep with no way to close the window it was frustrating
This hostel had multiple warm showers, multiple clean bathrooms, and pretty good wifi. In 2016, that's not much to ask for, but all across Peru and Bolivia we had trouble finding these modern day necessities, so it was a relief when we finally got here.
Was a great experience overall. Place was really nice and had a different feel about it. Staff friendly and accomodating.
Very helpful staff. Great common areas and facilities for making own food. Overall very positive.
Awesome hostel, perfectly located. Great atmosphere and beautiful decoration. A roof fan would be good though, since the rooms upstairs get really hot. But overall a great hostel.
Easily one of the best hostels in South America! Lovely interior design and deco, eye for details, really spacious dorms with reading lamps and electricity plugs, quite unusual breakfast and lovely wee backyard.
The staff was very friendly, the facilities clean, and breakfast excellent! Would definitely stay again if in Lima. Miraflores is an excellent area to stay in, too - there is easy access to the coast and a variety of spectacular restaurants within walking distance.
Nice big breakfast, good facilities with powerful showers and a power socket for each bed. Would be good to have more tourist information at the reception. Thanks :)
Very comfortable, relaxed hostel in a great Miraflores location. Delicious homemade granola, jam and peanut butter for breakfast, as well as homegrown oranges you can squeeze for juice. Lots of nice touches like lamps and outlets by the beds. And, of course, Pisco the hairless dog! Everything was great.
I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this hostel starting from warm bulb lights and high ceiling, wooden bookshelves and plenty of greens and blossoms - it was easy to tell the owner takes responsibility in creating such relaxing ambiance with good taste in decoration. Private room was kind of narrow and tiny, but I guess that's how it is in the big city like Lima. Not that close to Kennedy Park area Miraflores but in ample distance to some of the best cevicherias in town. Staffs were helpful.
I would c start here again. Delicious breakfast, walking distance from the beach and shops/restaurants. Didn't get to use the kitchen but it looked well equipped.
Miraflores isnt the most happening or the cheapest place to stay but this hostel was cute and sufficed - small lounge area though and temperamental wifi- breakfast is smaller than other hostels but nice, just a short walk from most places :)
