Pleasant stay for two nights. Staff are very friendly and willing to give advice on what to do in area and book tours/onward travel. Also the room and shared facilities were clean. On the other hand walls/doors etc are very thin and as my room was next to the common area it was very noisy. I did expect this based on other reviews, but do be aware the they are not exaggerating! Being in that room did mean that I had very strong wifi though, so not all bad!
The lady I met at reception was fantastic and very welcoming - she gives you a complete overview of where to go and recommends treks to do. I guess the only setbacks are that I became quite cold at night during my second stay and as the shower is essentially a shower head attached to the wall next to the toilet, the toilet is pretty much constantly wet and gets a bit messy, however, considering the price, I don't feel I can really complain. It's good value for the money.
Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a bit small with no space to dry your wet cloths (you will definitely have some in Cameron Highlands). Common bathrooms could be improved. Overal, it is a good place, we were satisfied.
Small, cramped rooms. Poor wifi. Easy walk to town. The staff was helpful with providing advice on jungle treks and activities in the area.
Very simple but clean and cheap + staff helpful
Too much noise because the rooms are not closed on top. Good location and friendly and helpful staff. Lockers don't look really safe
The staff of the hostel is very good. They are willing to explain and tell you a lot about the sights and where to go in the Cameron. The garden is a nice place to chill just as the hostel. Make sure to bring musquitorepellant as you will need it desperately!!
Small dorms, a lot of mosquitoes in the showers and the 4 bed dorms. Poor wifi. Kind and helpful staff though.
Unwelcoming atmosphere, dark and cold dorm room in the back, didn't feel save because doors were open, no nice furniture and decorations in the entire hotel and restaurant
Nice guesthouse with fairly good facilities. There is a basic restaurant on the site and the hostel is only a 5 minute walk from the main street in Tanah Rata. Good atmosphere with plenty of other travellers. The staff helped me to plan my hikes and gave me good advice of what to do in the area. The only downside was that there aren't lockers in the dorm room.
Close to the center, some VERY helpful staff members, sized but clean and comfortable bedrooms. Nice areas.
Very friendly and helpful staff but the room did not smell good and the walls were super thin.
Room is a little bit small, and the location is a bit far from the main road. However, the staffs and atmosphere is amazing!
This place was just fine. A little more expensive than other similar rooms we've booked in Malaysia. Nonetheless it was clean and staff is very friendly. There's also a garden.
Clean and beautiful place to stay. Conveniently located. Walls are too thin however. Also wish there were better food options especially for the evening.
Stayed in the dorm. It is nothing more than a 4 person room. Walls are thin in the whole guesthouse. Its a clean place and staff always wants to help you. Nothing special, but good for a 2 nights stay to visit cameron highlands.

If you go there, take a dorm. Because the private "room" are not really rooms but closets. And it's not a way to speak. Our private room was literally a depressing windowless closet. So without real walls, you can hear your neighbors breath. Otherwise this place is clean, wifi ok and owner friendly. But you can find real room for the same price elsewhere in town.
Decent place to stay in the Cameron Highlands. Easy to get to from the bus station. Walls are very thin though but not too much noise when we were there.
Pros: Helpful staff, short walk from the centre of town, can organise day trips and buses etc. Cons: Cold showers, and I mean cold, slow internet
Very basic but nice place to explore the Cameron Highlands. Less than 5 min walk to the main road with all the restaurants. Very friendly and helpful owner, she can tell you anything about trails and hikes. Not really recommended for light sleepers though as the walls are very thin.
