Cocoa Mews was a nice clean hostel. Staff were excellent in providing us with lots of info and good places to go. Good bathroom. Would stay there again. One suggestion however, take breakfast included off the facilities list on hostel world.

The rooms are very basic, but you're not coming to CH to stay in your room, are you? At first, we had to get used to the sound of the forest outside, but now I actually miss it. The location is very good, the staff is friendly and helpful, WiFi works fine except for top floor. Overall - recommended.

The room was small, but very clean. The staff was very helpfull: when we arrived she told us that the room is small and our suitecases are big and if we want we can put it in their lagguage room which is secured. I was missing local food for breakfast, but you can get in town.

Stayed for three nights here. It\'s really clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. There\'s a little garden area and also a tv corner area on each floor.

Quite average place. Rooms are made from mere compartments, but guests have been considerate when we were staying there, so noise levels were okay. The house lacks character, fairly odd sense of decoration inside (pink male bathrooms), but a very nice garden in front of the house. Staff is friendly and helpful with tour bookings. Cleanliness was decent. For the low price they are asking, it is a fair deal.

Good location just outside Tanah Rata , food was good and people seemed very pleasant and helpful. Having the courtesy bus was also a good idea.

The Hostel is quite nice, but make sure you stay in a room with outward window; the rooms inwards have no aircon and no curtains to dim the floor lights during the night. The location is quite okay, but in the evenings you have to walk a poorly lit road to the hostel, which was quite scary...

There isn't much cheap accommodation in tanah rata so this was an okay option. The room was small, with partitions as walls so we could hear everything. The shared bathrooms have no screens in the windows so they attract quite a bit of wildlife. Breakfast not included. Wasn't a place to get excited about coming back to, but ultimately it was okay.

This was an ok choice and decent value for the price paid. The rooms are all made from partitions so you can hear everything. Nice garden to relax in. Nice friendly staff.

My booking was lost when I arrived... Tanah Rata is cold and the bed sheets are not enough to keep you warm in the night. The location is ok but there are better ones in the town.

Very basic dorm stay. Clean bed and warm showers. Again walls were thin but the other customers kept the noise down accordingly. Had a good stay, it's about a 5 Minuit walk for the main drag.

Pretty nice hostel a few minutes walk from the "city" center. Beds and facilities very clean, hot water (!), friendly staff.

The location was just off the main street, which meant you didn't get much passing traffic. The rooms were of a reasonable size, however had no locker, but you could leave stuff at reception if you wanted. The beds were comfortable. The major downside is the very thin walls, which meant you could hear people down the corridor having a shower or flushing the loo.

Busy little place, nice casual atmosphere typical of hostels of this kind. Other guests seemed very comfortable, using the common areas to congregate and relax. We were on a mission so had no time but it was nice to have that relaxed feel. I recommend this pretty little hostel.
