The hostel is great! People there are amazing, you'll meet people from all over the world.Definetly a party hostel, the best hostel I've ever been to. Cons: my jacket was stolen from the lobby! The wifi is very bad and you have to wait for an hour to connect. They say on the website credit cards accepted but they are not! Only if you're paying more than 100€. The reception guy isn't friendly at all But the overall is great hostel. Definetly I'll stay in it again if I go back to Barcelona.

Great value for the money, the location is perfect if you are young and wanting to party. Right next to the Rambla and the Gothic Town of Barcelona, Kabul Hostal is a great place to go. They offer all three meals all for the same price that most other hostels only offer breakfast. There is one caveat though, there are no electric plugs in the room, security reasons they quote as the reason why, but it makes it complicated as you have to go to the lounge to charge your devices. It's awesome tho

Pros. The location is perfect. It is indeed a nice party hostel. Cons. Bathrooms were not very clean. Room ventilation was average but maybe it is better in summer when th a/c is on. Staff were not from spain so they lacked some information other than the main stuff.

I have not been to a hostel like this before, the common facilities are restricted at 130 am and people are kind of forced out into the street or bed. It feels like the bar dominates the evenings and with younger drinkers this is not always a happy ending. There is no kitchen but some food is provided during the day and evening. Breakfast was never fully out when I was there, something was always missing. Beds and bathrooms are minimalistic. One nice thing is the water conservation fixtures

No power outlets in the rooms but otherwise this is the best and most fun hostel we've stayed at by a mile. Don't even consider staying elsewhere!

I understand Kabul is a party hostel but if you choose to take a night off and expect to get any sleep, you're crazy. The party crowd comes back from the bar and the only quiet time is mid-day when people are out or sleeping.

Great hostel if you don't mind partying 24/7. Food included and its great location makes it one of the best hostels around Barcelona.

I stayed at Kabul Backpackers for 5 days with 3 friends in a 4 person room. The room was TINY - only about six feet wide and the length of the 2 beds. The room was also incredibly warm, even with an open window. The desk staff weren't overly friendly or helpful, though the bar staff was fantastic. Hostel has thin walls, which made sleeping well impossible. Fantastic location - I wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else! I'd stay at Kabul again, but I've definitely been to better, nicer hostels for

It is located in a prime location, inside a courtyard right off Las Ramblas. We stayed in a 4 person room, and it was extremely small, no room for bags or walking around. Our window faced what looked like an outdoor shaft with other windows. Every night we could hear people through the walls even if they weren't trying to be loud. The beds are small, I am 5'11 and I couldn't fit. The bed linen and blanket were old and there wasn't much left of the pillow. There are no outlets in the rooms either

Overall the hostel was ok however I have never experienced staff who were as unfriendly and unhelpful as theirs. You have to pay extra to store your bag in the luggage room for the day and it feels like it is a major inconvinence for the staff. I would not stay there just because of our experience with the staff.

Great party hostel but could be cleaned more regularly through out the day. Also having staff that seeks English when checking in would of been nice.

A bit commercial and the location is overwhelmingly touristy, but it's a fun place for a party stop

This hostel is a PARTY hostel, if you are traveling alone and like to get some sleep DONT go here, go to New York hostel. If you are young and have friends to party with then this hostel is for u. They have free breakfast and dinner. It's a bit of a walk to the beach but it's not bad (~25mins?). New York hostel is closer to the beach. Be careful, wierdos everywhere especially at night on la rambla.

Great location and good for a lot of partying. Staff sucked though - they weren't helpful or apologetic when there were problems with keys/lockers/etc. Also be careful of things being stolen

Me and my friends had a great time at Kabul. It was super easy to meet new friends. The location is great. The two meals per day were not only awesomely delicious, but also for free! It is a great hostel if you want to party, sightsee, or just chill in Barcelona for a cheep 20 eur/ night. The only downside i can think of is that there were no electrical sockets in the rooms, that really annoyed me!
