Kabul is hostel for going out and partying. It has an incredible location right in the heart of Old Barcelona, and there is ALWAYS something going on. Let's face it, if you want a tranquil evening of reflection, this is not the place for you. However, Kabul does what it sets out to do. They never try to trick you into thinking otherwise. Great value for what it is. Some staff members are pretty cold, some are totally awesome dudes and dudettes. Can't beat the price for what it is. Great place.

Had an absolutely incredible time at the hostel. The staff were amazingly helpful/friendly/banterous. The value for money was ridiculous - it only cost 7 euros a night, with free breakfast and dinner, as well as free tours of the city and very generous provision of drinks! Had one of the best weeks of my life, and am very much looking forward to returning in the summer!

I paid 9 euros per night in a 24 dorm and got free breakfast and free dinner! I couldn't believe it - i great value for money. They are very strict about security, they even took of all of the power plugs, at least in my dorm, so people wouldnt leave they're stuff there charging and get them stolen, which is a bit annoying but u can understand. My only complaint would be the blanket that smelt a little, but other than that the whole hostel was very clean, which isnt sth easy for a 24 ppl dorm.

Very good location, young guests, good breakfast. What I found awful is that they have no plugs on the bedrooms and they use blankets instead of duvets, which is not very hygienic whitouth the cover...

Had a great time there! But I have some complains... the blanket needs to be changed, because they smell bad. The hostel has no kitchen and no plugs in the bedrooms. The front desk staff was not very receptive, but the guy serving breakfast and the others from the bar are very happy and receptive. Also, the breakfast was amazing!! The common area is really good, with good music and great atmosphere. And still, the ballads that the hostel organizes are the best!
