One of my favourite hostels I've stayed at met some amazing people that I have done further traveling with it. It is a party hostel so don't except much sleep till the early hours but the rooms are dark and cool making it easy to sleep any time of the day. My only complaint is the wifi is a bit dodegy but for me to love a hostel with bad wifi it must be amazing.. And it is!
Kabul was great location, very fun atmosphere, great nights out and was awesome to get free cover to some expensive bars. Good dinner. We stayed in the 24 bed room and it actually wasn't too bad lots of space. Only downside was the lack of power outlets in the rooms.
Kabul has a great friendly atmosphere and clean rooms. They provide free meals and have good promotions for music and social gigs. Bit of a walk to the beach
Known as a party hostel and rightly so. I met my dorm mates and went out with them, but I could imagine a solo traveller could possibly be a bit lost in a hostel like this. Nonetheless, I was alone and had a great time here...
Need powerpoints in the room. Also when we arrvived we were told by staff sorry I can't check you in I'm going on break are you serious? We travel all day get in and just want sleep and are told we can't check in because he wants a smoke. Showers and toliets are so far away from your room. Our locker did not lock or work, staff just said can't help you.
If you are looking for party go there, if you are looking for a clean and good smeling room, air conditioner that works, to have plugs for charging your cel phone and electronic devices in your own room, pluss individual lights and other typical facilities of hostels, pluss a good attention from all the people in the front desk (perhaps I was un-lucky in this matter)... look for another place.
If you want to see Barcelona aswell as partying this hostel is defiantly a good choice... Staff are helpful and happy hour is pretty sweet... Would defiantly go back

You will love place if you boast a sleeve tattoo, love a sausage fest and enjoy being hosted by a pathetic excuse for a staff. It was truly humorous how arrogant the staff were, particularly the bar staff, namely the annoying American who got emotional when people were not silent during his boring and long announcements over the microphone. If you are a true traveler do not stay here. If you like to party enjoy the cockfest. Wish I had more characters to explain how truly pathetic the staff is.
Great atmosphere! Great location! Staff always nice and helpful, free entry to a different club every day, free dinner and big common area and bar are a good basis to meet new people and have a great time! I´ve already been there twice and would definitely come back!
Location is perfect, couldn't ask for any better. Free meals are huge positive, but they generally tend to be pretty plain - e.g. Pasta salad, risotto, pasta salad, fish and rice, pasta salad etc. I enjoyed the bar, and the nightly activities were good but the hostel was filled with blokes. Absolute sausage fest.
The staff are amazing, atmosphere is great. Not having power points in the rooms is really annoying. My room smelt really bad and was very dark and dingy however everything was amazing and everyone there is in the same boat so very happy to make friends. Would stay again!
What to say about Kabul? It's one of Europe's "famous" hostels and for some good reasons, the location can't be beat, right off La Rambla, they have a pretty good common area (even though it closes when the club crawl leaves), and the nightly club deal is really awesome. However, the facilities themselves could use some work; the bathrooms are not very clean (and are very communal), and the bedrooms themselves could use some work, I'll just say I'm happy I brought a travel sheet...
If you want to party then this is your hostel ... If you don't then I suggest you go somewhere else .... I had fun here and met a ton of people ... Just be prepared not to sleep for a couple of days cuz you will party !!!! They give you free food as well ... Nothing special but it's still good ..... Plus they often have buy one get one free beer .... So it's great ;)
Party party party. Every night, you don't really have an option. They feed you and show you how to party. If you can wae up in time they have a good walking tour. That's a big if. I stayed there for 8 nights and thought I may never leave.
Everyone I met there were about the drinking, clubbing, getting rowdy. Partygoers always lack social responsibility so the rooms and bathrooms were always trashed in the morning. There was nothing more the cleaning staff could have done. The free meals were very thoughtful especially for people that lost everything while partying. The wifi only worked downstairs and there was no quiet spot to sit and read. Too crowded in the 18 bed dorm. My shared isle was jammed with lockers and suitcases.
party hostel for sure. Comes with three meals a day. Pretty basic but when you are on a budget it doesn't really matter, decent quantify with every meal. How many hostels provide three meals a day. Location is great. Walking distance to several tourist areas and close to the metro. I had to keep extending my stay because I couldn't leave that place.
Was disappointed with my stay here. The staff weren't very friendly, my room was so dirty, my bed looked as if the sheets had never been changed, and I came home one night to find empty bottles on my bed a my blanket and pillows gone; just too many people in one room I think. It was kind of hard to meet people, possibly because they were all rather cliquey Australians. I do feel its possible to have great time here, maybe just wasn't for me.
