The meals with the family are a must - extremely cheap and very tasty

Easy to find and central like hell. There is only one shower and one bathroom and it is not the newest nor cleanest, but still nothing to be worried about. For the price you won`t find anything better and the staff is very friendly, the mother of the Hostel cooks for everyone every night and you have TV and DVD on you rooms... :D

A bit of a strange atmosphere - it felt like the staff were actually living with you which was a bit wierd. Location wise it was great though and very cheap, but only one shower and two toilets for the whole place!

Its in a great location and the bike rental and free internet is a plus. I recommend cycling around Sakurajima like we did, but be well prepared it will take a good 4 hours.

There was lots of free stuff - free washing machine and powder, free internet, free tea and coffee etc... but the mattress was non-existant - very uncomfortable beds. Toilet needed a clean - it smelt. Close to station.

We happened to get in late and had to enter from the back, so were weren't sure who to talk to at first, but everything got straightened out quickly. We stayed 2 nights, but were out a lot and didn't get to take advantage of any extras besides the internet, but it was pretty much everything/all we needed - a clean, simple place to stay.
