The staff try to create a homely feel to this very well equipped accomodation which makes for a different type of hostel to what you`ll normally find elsewhere. In fact, one of the only criticisms would be that, at times, they are a little too keen to be involved in your stay. Also, our room on the lower level was very damp and not amazingly clean. Other than that, it`s a pleasant place to stay. Nice and helpful staff but were a few of them living at the hostel and they could be a bit loud in the communal area - especially if your room is underneath. I´ll start by saying the owner (about who good things are writ) was not there. It was left to the charges of young crew, so if you´re over 21, bad music, bad drinks and bbq´s being touted to you, mightn´t be your thing. Tropics aside, our prvt room was so humid the toilet roll dripped & needed replacing, clothes left out of bag were moist by morning, & there was mold that was easily cleanable left under sink and in cnrs. Someone had showered recently before we arrived & it was just a bit dodge.I´ll start by saying the owner (about who good things are writ) was not there.
