Great place to stay for Kayaking in the Abel Tasman. The company picked us up from the hostel which was great. Not much kitchen space and obviously was not the cleanest at 8pm after everyone had used it! Very peaceful and a comfy bed!

Fantastic staff who made our stay much easier by helping us book a kayaking tour. Really nice bar and restaurant next door that ran a trivia night. Kiwi Experience stayed there as well.. Which was fun for us, but may not be everyone's cup of tea. I would definitely recommend this place!

Very nice hostel, however very small dorms (nowhere for anyone to leave their bags on the floor!) very few showers/toilets and small kitchen, but it is a small hostel overall and I didn't have to queue to shower so was obviously enough! Had to cart around your own cutlery and crockery sets which was irritating, especially as there were no lockers or space in the dorms to store them. Staff were hit and miss, some amazingly cool staff and some unhelpful/inefficient staff.
