I booked 3 nights and the first night we found MITES and BED BUGS on the mattresses and bedspreads. The reception staff offered a spray on venom for my bed which specifically instructed not to touch any surface sprayed with it for at least 24 hs, so as i refused they made us sitch rooms. The room we slept was right next to the bar and it had bugs also. When we left they wouldnt give us our money back (we had paid all 3 nights upon our arrival) and said that this happens all the time.
It's a nice hostel if you want to meet people. It's quite big and has a nice living room. Breakfast is ok. Quite good location, but a little loud at night (because of the other guests) Some lockers are broken. Staff is quite friendly but they extra charge 1000 CLP for leaving your luggage in the spare room after check-out. But overall quite good.
Only 3throoms for more than...60people... few and dirty Dormitorys are too much fulled. No place to put your bag because there is too much bed in the same room (only to make more money...) The breakfast is simple, bred, jam, milk,, tea, coffee, cereals. It's like a factory. But for one or 2 nights, it's good. Location is absolutly perfect in the mainstreet of the downtown.
Dirty bathrooms and no hot water in 2 of the 3 days we stayed in. Furthermore there were bad bugs in our room. My friend was very choppy, had an allergic reaction and had to take anti-allergic because he was very sick!!!!
