Katja and the homestay are awesome! Sooooo....go there :)

it was definitely a very very good place to stay. based on its location which is in old town close to eating places, tram way station and to the sea. i think it is the best place to stay in Antalya.

Kale's homestay was the perfect place to stay in Antalya. The atmosphere was very comfortable. All over the place and in the rooms you find artistic paintings and you find the love in the details. The location of the homestay is directly in the oldtown of Antalya. Katja is a very open-minded, nice, helpful and easy-going person and it was nice to talk to her and her local friends. Thank you very much! If we come back to Antalya, we will go there again.

Kale's Homestay is a delight because Katje, the host, makes it that way. If you are new to Antalya, then do yourself a favour and book a room with the charming bohemian Katje, who has given free reign to individual artists to decorate the house, and whose advice and humour made this a home away from home for a lone traveller. I meant to stay a few days, stayed a week instead, and met incredibly interesting people here, both international and Turkish. I'm coming back for sure. Fab experience!

ım glad ı stayed at kales homestay...katya ıs really one of a kınd who wıll go out of her way to make sure you have a pleasant stay...the homestay was perfect ıt really felt lıke home and ıt ıs perfectly located ın the heart of kaleıcı where you have access to supermarket, bakery, cafes, restaurants rıght at your feet and at nıght ıts nıce and quıet away from the hustle and bustle where you can enjoy a good nıghts sleep..ı personally would not have had a wonderful tıme ıf ı had stayed elsewhere.

I booked the cheaper of Kale's homestay lodgings but was put in the more expensive/nicer building. So this review is of that space which is directly above the laundry. The beds are very comfy, rooms are spacious, wifi quite good, hospitality fabulous, and common area nice with use of a kitchen for cooking. My only complaints would be the water pressure in the shower is a bit wonky, and the common kitchen fridge should be emptied more often (some rotting food smelled in there).

Great place to stay in Antalya right in the heart of the old town. Very friendly and helpful host. Would recommend if you're looking for affordable place to stay and aren't looking for the flashest place in town. Place has lots of character and an interesting story. There are two different buildings, we stayed in the original (cheaper) one which was a basement apartment (with windows to the street) with 3 rooms with shared kitchen, living room, bathroom and toilet.
