Good location, staff is really helpfull, my only concern was that there were people actually living in the hostel for a long time, from the country, so at the begining got me worried because you expect to meet backpackers, travelers like you and at this hostel I met more local people than foreign. They were great though but I just thought it was a bit weird.

they owe me SGD60 for not returning the deposit after my cousin surrendered the keys. she returned all four locker keys to the receptionist but he only gave back SGD20 deposit for the keys. i went back to the hostel to take the remaining SGD60 but the receptionist said he needs to check with the boss because he has already handed the receipts to him. he said he would contact me regarding the issue but until now, i haven't received even a single sms.

Was my worst experiencie in hostels. I have been in a huge amount of them since i was a teenager. This was he worst. I left the place one night before, even when i paid it in advance. The staff sucks, bad mannrs, never willing to help, it seems like they did not want to be there. I "lost" an ipod, in 1 hour during my shower time, nobody in the room, just the staff doing the cleaning. After an argument, the ipod appear 30 minutes later, the staff guy said that he found it in the hallway! wtf?

Everything went perfect, except for the fact that the beds are really noisy.

Great place to stay and sooo near to the MRT station! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and aircon was cool, esp with the singapore heat. The only problem we had was that we didnt get the room till late as we we were informed that someone was still in the room even though the check-out time was at noon. Also, I think the hostel should add more toilets, and have more frequent cleaning schedule, but other than that a real great place to stay and value for money. :)
