One big thing, there is no breakfast here and not a whole lot in the surrounding area. So for mornings, it is a bit of an issue. The manager is Russian and is very nice and helpful for attractions or hiring a private car. The 6 bed rooms are really small, but there are two nice lounges in the main areas.
Anna was very welcoming and helpful, rooms were big and clean and it had the best wifi I've used in any hostel! Met some lovely people in the hostel and there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Would stay here again.
I stayed in four places in Kandy but preferred this place. It’s new so it has everything including mozi nets, hot water and a full kitchen. Spacious, clean and comfortable with chill out areas and fast wifi. Local live-in guy doing 24 hour security. Always cool people coming through and Anna the manager took us straight to the best bars. Just 5 mins drive to town centre, with buses and tuk tuks on the doorstep. 15 bucks a night, great value.

No air con, , the place has only been open a short while and already needs a good clean and decorating done, ants all over worktops and food, taps and showers could do with a good clean aswell.
Great hostel, very clean with a friendly environment. Location is poor, meaning some extra walking or expense of extra transport.
