Very clean place but confuse about breakfast included. When you book, breakfast included, when stayung at hotel, they say not. After show the booking, the offer the breakfast for free.

very lovely, helpful manager and staff, beautiful room with an incredible view. No one is pushing you for any trips or tours but give you helpful recommendations. Warm and friendly atmosphere . Only minus, for some it might not be, its a bit far away from down town Kandy. If we are back to Kandy, we definitely will stay there again

The owner didn't know who Hostelworld were, or how much the rates were. He tried to charge us extra for an airportpick-up (when we didn't have one) and interrogated us about using the aircon. The owner is dishonest, and I'd advise other travellers to keep a track of everything they're spending (meals, trips etc) as he will try anything to get an extra cent. We were also orginially placed in the wrong room which was filthy and damp. We left a day early. Even for the low price, this place is bad.

LOCATION IS NO WHERE NEAR WHERE IT SAYS ON HOSTELWORLD MAP. Use hotel's own website to find location. apart from having trouble finding the place, everything else was good. has nice pool and staff were friendly and helpful. overall very good value for money.

Definitely a recommendable hostel and good value! I really loved the view from the rooftop restaurant every morning. The rather cool climate in Kandy made this a good starting point for our Sri Lanka tour. I heard from other guests that the luxury apartments next to the owner's house are worth a try. The staff are always eager to help you. If you like,they help you with organising tours to the cultural sights too .The owner himself was very friendly gave us a free citytour and made us feel safe.

We booked the cheaper double room for two nights, and then asked them if we could come a night early, and they said yes, and it wold be at the same rate. When we got there, they put us in the deluxe double room upstairs with a beautiful view, hot water, nice towels, quite nice. After that they moved us down to the regular room, which had a lot less to offer. The regular room wasn't really worth $25, but the deluxe room was worth the $35. Breakfast was delightful, food etc was expensive.
