Good place to stay and I would send others to stay there. Looks like the person who found his room sold to another was very late and did not call. I did send an e mail in advance to say if the bus is late it will not be my fault and I do not have a cell phone to call you. Room was ready.

I booked a singe room. It was not very big but okay. The toilets and showers are suitable. Unfortunately, there was no wifi in the room. The location is great, it is near the main road with a lot of restaurants. A lot of jungle trails are also reachable by a short walk. I would stay there again!

Nothing very special I'm afraid, everything a bit run down but the location was good. Excellent walks to be had and various excursions to strawberry farm & tea plantations.

The place was nice enough, and the rooms and shared bathrooms pretty standard. Nice outdoor sitting area. The staff made an attempt at being helpful, but usually just pressured us into taking one of their tours or using their transport service. They're pretty pushy about it, which was a bit off-putting for us. Also felt it was pretty tacky to hand us their card and basically ask for referrals as we left. No outlets in the rooms is kind of a pain- you have to leave stuff at the desk to charge.

The room was very small but clean and the bathrooms were pretty clean also with hot showers. The atmosphere in the common area was great.

Try to avoid this place if you can. We booked a room here about a week before we arrived only to come here at 7pm and find out that our room has been given to someone else. We were pretty shocked by this as we have stayed in hundreds of hostels all over the world and this has never happened to us but we stayed calm and asked if they could organize alternative accommodation for us to which they said no! Super rude staff couldn't believe those guys. Stayed at Eight Mentigi which was great!

Laid back, relaxed Hostel, with lots of common areas, such as a veranda, campfire, bar, etc. The owner is quitte money-obsessed though and not all to friendly. Simply a matter of dealing with him business-like and you'll be fine!

This is a very pleasant lodge with character built in no small part due to Patrick on reception. However, despite being always hot, the toilet and shower areas need a bit of a touch up. And the rooms are a bit over-priced for what you get.
