Do not expect too much for the price you pay. If you are willing to spend more money go to another hostel. Get some more blankets when you check in otherwise you might be freezing at night. The showers and toilets need some mainainance and are not very clean. The staff is friendly and the big porch is nice. There is also a bar with a bonfire in the evening. There have been some robberies on the hiking tracks lately!

Hmm okay this is my very first review after 7 months of traveling because for the most of where I stayed it was summed up in reviews by other people. I have been traveling quite a while and by no means am a princess, but there are certain things a girl can't handle, bed bugs... i was not the first person to encounter them even having separate rooms. I have no idea Who wrote that this place was clean cause that is a lie...I hope the place fixes this prob cause the staff were nice and great area

The social area was cool. Sad that there is no breakfast included. We enjoyed our stay here. The town is very small and easy to get around. The hostel sells all the day tours and also buses to other cities which is convenient.

Reasonable accommodation at the heart of Cameron highlands. Nice veranda (though light there will rudely be switched off at 10pm). Rooms w/o daylight, makes them moist and smelly. Staff could be friendlier.

The rooms were slightly cold during night, and very small. The blanket I received to use as duvet felt well-used and didn't look very nice. Wifi only works in the common area, but that was a nice place to sit so it didn't matter o us. Also the showers provided both hot and cold water and the bathrooms and common area was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

A good hostel just off the main street, close to the start of walks and has very hot showers. The rooms can get cold at night so be prepared, has a good social area but not a rowdy hostel, ideal base for exploring the beautiful surroundings.

Excellent hostel we were really impressed with the facilities and how helpful the staff were. The trips the hostel ran were also very cheap, we booked a couple through them and each were brilliant very knowledgable guides. Would defiantly return to the camaron highlands and defiantly stay with he hostel again.

A reasonable priced hostel for the location in a small town in the hills. WiFi service and travel desk were good, gets a little chilly at night but bedding with blankets are provided.

I got really horrendous bed bug bites here ! But the showers are nice and hot, rooms can be a little cold and hard, wifi only works in an outside undercover area , so not much protection from mossies while surfing. Location is away from the heckling tour touts , and the staff seem pretty nice, got a free lift back when it was raining. Lots of travellers so you can chat but no pubs or anything to go to.

Great location, close to the action but away from the noise. Probably the best organised hostel in the township. One of the staff members was a bit lazy though, not giving people towels which they should have provided, or extra blankets (it gets cold at night), claiming the laundry was 'closed'. A good place to book tours of the area, but a bit hard unless you are in a group of at least 4, the minimum for any tour or city transfer.

Hostel located few minutes walk from the main street and I would say food street of Tanah Rata. Hot water is available as long as a reception or bar is opened. At night it is cold and additional blanket would be a plus. Moreover hostel provide value for money a day or a half-day tour to tea plantation, butterfly farm etc.
