Very helpful staff! Terrible state of beds! The manager was not present, but the guy in charge for the night was very attentive and made us feel welcome! Beds - IMPOSSIBLE to sleep in. I was scared it will collapse at night. Every time te person sleeping belw me moved the bed moved to sides so much that it nearly mde me feel sea-sick at night! Not to mention the squeeking noise it made! Did not sleep at all that night. Otherwise the rooms are good size and reasonable location.

We have been in a lot of hostels and have never seen such a disgusting one like this! The room was very smelly and wasn't cleaned once during our three days' stay. Also, the kitchen and facilities need some serious cleaning or renovation respectively. Two of the four restrooms on the first floor were closed anyway. We were happy to be able to move out after three days.

Best hostel i ve ever been! everything is clean. Shane the hostelmanager is a really nice guy and he is caring about the hostel. There is an outside area with bbq and a tv lounge with a big screen and 10 movies every week.

This was a very cozy hostel. It had a nice family feel to it. They have free laundry, a BBQ, and some nice porches.

Good value for money but not the nicest beds ive ever stayed in, bit of a walk to get to the center so not an ideal location if your looking to be within walking distance of everywhere. Most people are working in the hostel so not the best place to meet people

Don't expect anything to be too organised, but if your looking for a laid-back, quiet, homely feeling hostel this is a good bet. Good showers, garden area with bbq, fairly small so no waiting to use the bathrooms/kitchen. And by the way, anyone seen Shane?!

Definitely my favorite hostel in Sydney! It's got big rooms with plenty of space and comfortable big beds, also everybody has free lockers for his stuff. Bathrooms are nice and clean and there is a nice TV lounge with a huge screen for bad weather days.The hostel manager gets 10 new movies every week so you'll never be bored. The hostel manager shane is very friendly, if you're new to Australia or Sydney he can help you a lot. He helped me finding 3 jobs and buying a car.

Don't expect to much at all from this hostel. Matt, the guy who should be the manager, looks more like someone who is backpacking and chilling, then he is a person you would go to if you have any questions or what so ever.

Very unclean and smelly room, could almost not breath in there. Staff were not present the whole morning when I was to check out (reception closed though it was supposed to be open) so I just had to leave the keys at the counter. Would not stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was decent.

best hostel! felt like a big family ! :D
