You must rent the sheets from them which is not included in the price, a bit annoying. The kitchen and common area were nice and the room was quite big for four beds, lockers were quite flimsy though. North americans beware, there are no individual shower stalls or hangers beside the shower to put your towel on! Naked wandering around the corner will be necessary! Location was a good half hour walk from the old city, but three minutes from the New City train station NOT the hauptbahnhof.

Great hostel, fabulous staff to help with anything. Kitchen facilities are really good, and there is a Lidl near the station (where in my opinion I recommend you buy your breakfast ;-) ). Definitely recommend.

Great place with great comics on the wall and very nice and helpful staff. Chairs and tables to sit outside make it a nice spot even in the evening :).

The atmosphere was fine except for the common rooms. Sometimes too much space means that people have an excuse not to socialise. I really liked the hostel and highly recommend it. The only thing I would suggest is that hooks on the shower doors would be more convenient.

The bathroom can be improved, e.g. adding some hooks to hang the clothes.

Good but not great. I have to compare it to places like Garden Backpacker in Seville, Raise a Smile in Berlin and a host of others. It feels like an old style hostel. Impersonal and a little like a transaction. The staff are great when you need them but in other places there are more opportunities to get to know the staff and to attend hostel events. I also dislike paying for wifi. You pay for 3 hours but you have to use it all in a 3 hour window which is really silly.

Cant think of a better place to stay. The staff is GREAT and the kitchen / commom is etremely comfortable. ONLY problem was the shower room - it kinda feel like showering in a public swimming pool. Otherwise, great place. I wish Kangaroo have more branches in other cities.

I stayed there just for one night but I liked this hostel immediately. The staff is really nice and helpful. Bedroom and bathroom cozy and clean. The position is good, half way between Aldstadt and Neustadt. If I'll go back to Dresden I'll go back in ths hostel.

Got great character and nice staffs. However, really didn't like we had to pay for our sheets, as well as for the internet.

Nice hostel, but I did not have good feeling about the staff, they behaved as they did not like to be there for us - it was such a big deal that we were leaving early, the lady who opened the reception for us at six in the morning was very unpleasant, and when we came they suddenly told us about new fees, that I did not like. So be prepared to pay for the bedding and cleaning.
