Not much of a hostel atmosphere, but the rooms, bathrooms and kitchen are all quite good.

The powerpoints are located all on one wall, so you can't charge things safely during the night. The worst thing was the showers though. There are 5 showers in the one room. One has a stall, 2 have curtains, but the other 2 have literally nothing. There are no locks to the shower room so anyone can walk in. There was nowhere to put your clothes so you had to leave them out of the curtain and try to change in the small wet shower, and you need to hold down a button to keep the water going.

Nice and clean hostel, but common area was a bit quite. Not many people at the hostel, but maybe because it was just after Christmas.

Overall it is a great hostel. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are large and clean and have big enough lockers for your big backpacks. The guest kitchen was great and had everything you need and more to prepare and cook some food. The location is nice, really close to one of the train stations. But it is around a 15 minute walk to the historical side of town, but its really not bad and quite a nice walk. I would recommend!

Very helpful staff, very close to a train station (but still it is quiet) and fairly close to the main tourist attractions. I do not really get why the price of sheets and Wi-Fi has to be added separately, but still I would choose this hostel the next time.

Staff is cool as hell, you're perfectly close to the station, old town, and new town, and the lounge area is tight and complete with hammocks and a full utility kitchen.

Nice, friendly and very clean place. Wi-Fi is very slowly and it's dificult to use it. I'd recommend it for my friends.

Convenient hostel, very near the train station. Love especially the common area of the hostel. Although it is a common area but it is a nice, quite and cosy "living room" with comfortable sofas, and a good kitchen. Highly recommended hostel and would definitely come back to this one.

Really enjoyed staying here, even though it was a bit of a walk to the Christmas markets. Front desk was helpful and the hostel felt clean and safe. The common room is neat - hanging hammocks and board games. I wish that linen was included though.

I had a very great time here and the staff are very friendly and kind to give lots of advices. The position is also good for me , just 5mins away from the Newstatt Station. It is walking distance to go the old town. It is a quite and safe place and the price is quite nice also. :)

The staff were absolutely fantastic! Very useful with all my enquiries and when I extended my stay a night in a different room they allowed me to change rooms as soon as it was clean (at a bright and early 11am!) meaning I could just move straight from my old room to the new one!

Apparently, free internet means only free web. Any other service - like skype, jabber chat, remote shell (ssh, telnet), google play and such no not work here. Connection is limitted to single device, even sharing your phone connection via USB tethering and similar does not work. If you need theese, your first connected device has to have VPN capability and you need VPN server running on https port. Long running TCP connections are cut after couple of minutes, including VPN.

Just a good hostel. If you find yourself in Dresden, it's a good place to be. Was there at a quiet time, so wasn't very lively. But, it was nice. Really great kitchen and the hammocks are fun. Atmosphere is really well done.
