Everything was perfect. Kangaroo is located very close to the center and the main railway station, so its easy to find it and get to anywhere. The hostel is clean and modern. Particular "plus" for stuff, especially nice Lady from reception, who speaks even Russian language and is ready to help with everything. Next time in Dresden I'll surely stop in Kangaroo.

Good experience overall, what I have come to expect from hostels, but better than most. I would recommend this hostel to other. Very relaxing atmosphere and the rooms, beds, were comfortable.

Perfect located and nice place. The staff were great.

Hostel was clean, located close to the Neustadt train station, night life, and a couple of tram stops from the Old Town. Enjoyed my stay, including big kitchen/lounge area.

Great lokation near S-Bahn station Neustadt and tram stop Albertplatz. Also not far from centre by walk. Hostel is wonderful, especially because of those lovely girls on reception. Cheap and great... one of things why Im going to Dresden again.

I really enjoyed my stay here, and the staff are very helpful. I made some friends and had a lot of fun. Next time I'm in Dresden I'll stay here for sure!

PROS: Good security lockers, quiet location, fantastic common room and kitchen. CONS: It's 2011, not 1998 - Internet access should be free. Had to pay extra for sheets.

The staff was awesome. All of them were willing to speak both German and English with us, which was awesome being a German major.

Very very friendly staff, always helpful, always uncomplicated, very cheap 10-bed-dorms, a clean kitchen, very good bathrooms. Although WLAN is not free, it is very affordable (best plan 3 hours for 1 €). definitively recommended!

One of the cool hostels, I've stayed. Lady at the reception was very helpful. Since we had to leave early by 6.30 am informed the reception the prev. night & she was very prompt & helpful. Love the Down-under theme. comes across as a very laid back & easy go place.

Turns out i gt there and booked it forthe next night gah wrong night. they were full and so where most plaes busy weekend lady made ph call to a boat hotel for me and they just had canxellation i was lucky. Nice place very little engliah on the boat an was wied how the shower had 3 shower taps thwre in one room and no curtains or anything to seperate. Thanks kangaroo for helping me find sumwhere to stay!!

Excellent value for money - great location (next to the Neustadt train station and only a short walk from the Altstadt), spacious rooms, good facilities in the common area, and very clean as well.

On arrival the lady at reception was more happy to assist us with all our needs!

It was very nice to stay in Kangaroo Stop even for one night. It's very easy to reach the city center by trams. Kitchen, common room and bedrooms are so cozy, we felt at home. We loved that place.

Excellent place to base yourself in Dresden. The place was spotless, the reception staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly (and tolerant of our mangled Deutche). Really good location just a couple of minutes walk from Neustadt railway station. Quiet and clean and would happily recommend.

Good time all around, girls at the desk were very helpful and friendly, Showers could have used a bit more hot water, 2 minutes is not enough for me, although that may have been a personal thing
