I would not recommend this hostel simply based on the ridiculous internet policy of this hostel. Otherwise the hostel is a very nice quiet hostel. But having only 3 hours of internet a day is ridiculous, especially since once you sign on, the timer starts and goes strait for the next 3 hours. It is the year 2013, I had better internet connection and availability at hostels I have stayed at in developing countries. I am only annoyed because this was not mentioned at all when booking the hostel.
Had a really relaxing time at the kangaroo stop. The common room was really cosy and a good place to meet other travelers. Only thing was you only get three hours free wifi. Other than that, would definitely reccomend
The staffs are friendly but the shower is a bit inconvenient that no where to put stuffs.
I was shocked by the reception woman, who asks me if my own sheet is newly washed and who insist to check it! And the key deposit is 15 EURO, the highest one I have ever seen! And they've got a full A4 page of rules to obey.... It can take you 5 minutes to finish reading them. Besides, it is a little bit far from the city center. 20 min walk if you don't take the S-bahn.
Nice place great staff, only drawback is that they are not 24h, but all it takes is a mail if you are arriving late. Great place to be.
Nice and clean hostel! We had a private room with shared bathroom. The room was big and with comfortable beds. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Perfect hostel to stay in dresden!

This hostel had tons of wonderful and well designed space--- a huge kitchen, relaxing lounge area, and yards, very close to the train station. The staff was very helpful--- even called several ride shares and did the back and forth to set it up for me! The environment laid back and pleasant for a solo traveler. Would surely recommend it.
Really convenient location, short walk from the Neustadt Rail Station and staff was very accommodating with our early morning luggage drop-off.
Great place to be. I liked a lot, the only problem is internet is limited, it should be included. Breakfast althought is not included, is really good. Would recommend it,
Bed linen should definitely be included in the price of the hostel!! You can not use your own if you have used it at another hostel (who hasn't) so you end up paying a bit more at check in than the agreed price. Facilities were quite dated throughout hostel. We loved the location - walking distance to a lot of cool places to eat and drink. Staff were nice enough. Decent hostel, but not great.
Really big, which was great. Not cramped by any means, big common area You do have to pay for wifi and sheets which is a bit cheeky It was very quiet when I was there, maybe that was just when I was there, but the common area was whisper quiet with people playing cards and chess, so definitely not a party hostel if that's what you're into
Staffs are friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable.
Has all the facilities you need but it is such a large place, and run like an industrial operation, so loses the friendly, sociable touch.
Such a homely hostel with a great kitchen and chill out area/lounge. The staff were exceptional and the wifi connection was good too. 10/10!!
Great hostel. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, perfect location, and not expensive.
Handy location near bus stops and Dresden Neustadt train station (note: not near Dresden HBF central station). Good facilities, excellent information and staff helpful. Wished I had more time in Dresden also. Main negative for me with this hostel was that my dorm had a "fly" problem.
It was okay.. Nice rooms and staff and a full kitchen area but just didn't have a good atmosphere and even though it was located between the main areas of attraction I think something located IN one of those areas would have been better. AND Internet wasn't unlimited.
