I only stayed one night in Kangaroo Stop but I really enjoyed it. The staff were very helpful, the bathrooms clean and there was hot water, the rooms were also very nice. You have to pay for the linen though, which sucks if you're only staying one night, but overall, I would recommend staying here. There's also free food left over by the other dormers, and I helped myself to some butter and cheese :)

Nice rooms with sink and table/chairs. Staff are friendly and helpful. Large kitchen to cook for yourself. Located just a few steps from the train station and a nice walk into the old town. There really wasn't much happening here but I guess the time of year has something to do with that. Paying for sheets seems a little unreasonable. All in all a good, easy place to stay

Very nice guesthouse, I stayed 4 days in Kangoroo Stop. I felt very welcomed, the place is warm and the staff is very attentive to his guests. I recommend without hesitation. Thank to Liane and her team Gabriel

The hostel was ok overall, but they turn the central heating off at night - which is no problem if the room is small and there are lots of people inside, but in my case, there was only me and my girlfriend, and it got really cold in the middle of the night. Also, the reception closes after 22h00 and apparently nobody from the staff stays, so I couldn't even get more blankets!

Nice hostel with a huge kitchen. Helpful staff. Only complaint is that bed sheets cost 2 euros to rent, and this should be included in the price on hosteworld (who brings bed sheets with them any more??)

Very friendly staff, only about 15 minutes walking for the Historical part of town, and very close to the hip "new" part of town. I felt very safe and welcome in the hostel. The staff was helpful in telling us which places were good to go out in and what places were worth seeing. Definitely would stay there again.

Lovely staff! Extremely helpful and kind with great advice about the city. Location was perfect - near station, short stroll from Neustadt youth area (but not so close that bar noise a problem) and a pleasant (extended) walk to the historic centre. Loved the city and loved this place!

Fantastic hostel. Free linen if you stay 3 or more nights. Really friendly and helpful staff. Lacking a bit of atmosphere but maybe it was the time of year. Great location near main train station and 15min walk into the old part of town (better location than the other main hostel I think). Pretty clean rooms with lockers. Showers could do with more hanging space. They charge for wifi but you can use a computer for free in the lobby - very backwards and needs to be changed. Overall a great hostel

Very friendly stuff(they give you maps and show you what to check in the city)!hospitable owner (she really helped me with my luggage beyond her normal "duties").Very clean and safe(lockers for free). If you have your own sheets you will save 2 euros!Sleeping bags not accepted even if they are clean!Perfectly located in Neustadt (the place to be at night in Dresden),3 minutes walking from Dresden-Neustadt train station and 15 min away of the historical center.huge kitchen. Wifi but not for free.
