One of the cool hostels, I've stayed. Lady at the reception was very helpful. Since we had to leave early by 6.30 am informed the reception the prev. night & she was very prompt & helpful. Love the Down-under theme. comes across as a very laid back & easy go place.

Great lokation near S-Bahn station Neustadt and tram stop Albertplatz. Also not far from centre by walk. Hostel is wonderful, especially because of those lovely girls on reception. Cheap and great... one of things why Im going to Dresden again.

Hostel was clean, located close to the Neustadt train station, night life, and a couple of tram stops from the Old Town. Enjoyed my stay, including big kitchen/lounge area.

Just Awesome

Everything was perfect. Kangaroo is located very close to the center and the main railway station, so its easy to find it and get to anywhere. The hostel is clean and modern. Particular "plus" for stuff, especially nice Lady from reception, who speaks even Russian language and is ready to help with everything. Next time in Dresden I'll surely stop in Kangaroo.

Very friendly stuff(they give you maps and show you what to check in the city)!hospitable owner (she really helped me with my luggage beyond her normal "duties").Very clean and safe(lockers for free). If you have your own sheets you will save 2 euros!Sleeping bags not accepted even if they are clean!Perfectly located in Neustadt (the place to be at night in Dresden),3 minutes walking from Dresden-Neustadt train station and 15 min away of the historical center.huge kitchen. Wifi but not for free.

Staff at the reception was very friendly and nice. Super location, clean, quiet and good atmosphere. Really advisable for your guys.

The staff here are terrific, very helpful and friendly. It has a great kitchen facility, well stocked with everything a travel needs. Train station is an easy 5min walk - loved our stay there.

Very nice guesthouse, I stayed 4 days in Kangoroo Stop. I felt very welcomed, the place is warm and the staff is very attentive to his guests. I recommend without hesitation. Thank to Liane and her team Gabriel

Excellent place to base yourself in Dresden. The place was spotless, the reception staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly (and tolerant of our mangled Deutche). Really good location just a couple of minutes walk from Neustadt railway station. Quiet and clean and would happily recommend.

Perfect hostel with good, big and clean rooms . The staff is super friendly and you can get all sort of information from them . The only withdraws is that you have only one computer for free internet and there is one shower for male and one for female for the whole floor if I am not mistaken. but go for it , value for money

Best night's sleep in this hostel - real beds, soft pillows and huge rooms. The sink in the room is a plus, and only a few showers were enclosed, the rest were open. Kitchen and lounge area were fantastic. Internet was 3 euro for 24 hrs which isn't bad. So close to the train station and supermarket too. Would definitely stay again!

It was very nice to stay in Kangaroo Stop even for one night. It's very easy to reach the city center by trams. Kitchen, common room and bedrooms are so cozy, we felt at home. We loved that place.

The staff was awesome. All of them were willing to speak both German and English with us, which was awesome being a German major.

I really enjoyed my stay here, and the staff are very helpful. I made some friends and had a lot of fun. Next time I'm in Dresden I'll stay here for sure!

Great hostel.the staffs are extremely friendly and helphul. always they give you a perfect answer when you have a question.It is a quiet place,there are bio grocely store,bakely,bar,nice Kebab stand in front of the station.you can have a nice walk to the old city.expecially it was calm to walk along the river.
