Karakuls hostel was quite expensive. There was renovation and building work happening which made the environment not so great. The free breakfast was excellent and included espresso. There was no common area. Staff were friendly and helpful though. Room was quite small.

Nice and cosy place. Short walk to the beach. Jams which they served at breakfast were super.

The room was basic but comfortable, screened to keep out mosquitoes, and both quiet and private. The lady who runs the place does not speak much English, but she is very helpful. Breakfast is huge and delicious. The courtyard is really nice, with grapevines and a hammock for chilling in the sun. I went to their beach restaurant for dinner. It is overpriced and staff there are not overly friendly, but they let you use the lounge chairs for free, which is great during the day.

Enjoyed staying at this lovely place.Wonderful Garden and nice budget rooms. Do not agree with the post that mentioned room has not been cleaned. My room was spotless clean and well looked after! Breakfast was faboulous and lots of information on hiking in the area was given. They can arrange all kind of tours. İ climbed Mount Olympos (Tahtali) with them wich was a great experience.Martin helped me a lot and has unbeatable knowledge of Turkey and the Middle East. Will definatly stay there again

I have stayed 12 days, it would have been necessary to clean the bathroom and sleepingroom after a time. I also had always to run for new toilettpaper and for a new towel(after a week). Anyway it was a great place to stay.

Great Place to stay along the Lycian Way Karakus Pansiyon was one of my favourite places I stayed at during my trip to Turkey.Mehmet and Sera are great hosts and try to satisfy all your needs, though theire english is a bit limited.Martin, the german expat who runs the place as a co-manager makes up for that and is an endless source of information regarding local and international travel and can organize all kind of tours and speaks excellent english. The rooms are great value for money.

Karakus - I miss you already. Nice rooms, beautiful grounds, friendly and accommodating owners and a fantastic breakfast! The homemade pomegranate juice and jams were divine.

people are very nıce

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Karakus and would certainly stay there again. The room was basic but fine for our needs. It would have been nice if the room had been cleaned at least once during our week's stay and the sheets and towels had been changed. However, the breakfast provided was very good indeed and the staff very friendly although not much English spoken. The pansiyon has a very pretty garden and is located a short walk from the beach. All in all very good value for money.

i liked every hostel, we have visited in our vacation in turkey but not the karakus pansiyon in cirali. the owners were extremly unfriendly. we even didn´t get the promised breakfast, which is not really a problem if one talks about the reason, but no one did. i would love to visit cirali again, because it was the most beautiful place we saw on our journey, but i would never again stay in the karakus pansiyon. we really didn´t feel, that we were welcome.

Cirali was the best beach in whole Lykia!! We loved it and would have liked to stay longer.

A nice place about 300 meters from beach, the people there have been very nice with us, they helped us sort out a few problems we had.

Rooms were clean and tidy. And location was great. But value for money was poor compared to other places we stayed in turkey. The beach resteraunt run by the pension owners was awesome.
