The German Emperor Wilhelm visited Karlsoy (North Norway) many times from 1902 and it was him named it The Paradise of the Northern Countries. It present name originate from an old Viking who lived here.

The fitting rooms in this building have been preserved authenticity, and each room is conveniently designed individually. Some rooms have survived nearly 200 years old wooden construction, ceiling unchanged deliberately retained the old wooden pillars.

Pub interior tells the history of this region. Here are exhibited authentic century implied the Islanders household utensil, fishing equipment, vessels used in navigation systems. This is the only such bar in Norway.
