Looks like a sanitarium, terrible location. I stayed there on Halloween night which made it more creepy. The character is austere and drab. My single room was spacious and big which was nice but still drab. They charge you for a crappy breakfast that should be complimentary. This place overall was robbery, way too expensive & Karlstad has nothing to do. I am in Gothenburg now, and I am paying half as much for my own room. No computers either if you are backpacking. I would NEVER stay here again.

An easy bus ride out of the city center, near a lake and forest. Nice people and nice place. I really enjoyed it.

A very nice and clean hostel! Full of people/ students on that time I arrived, wich was very nice, I even made some new friends. The staff were very nice and helpful. There is a big common kitchen with 2 stowes and to microwaves, but a small spce for cleaning up so you had to wait in line before you could do the dishes. The rooms were big and clean, a bit hard beds but it was ok.
