Kate Guest House Reviews

I have read some reviews of this guest house that are inaccurate including pictures. The accommodation wasn’t too bad although quite claustrophobic if you are sharing an apartment with another party. We were expecting the location to be difficult as Dubrovnik is quite hilly but the worst thing was the family that ran the place arguing constantly. This made for a very hostile environment. We also witnessed the family ignoring a customer who had been trying unsuccessfully to contact the family.

A very nice room, stylishly decorated and well equipped. Guest house as opposed to a hostel so opportunities to meet other travellers are limited. Located in Gruz, not particularly near to the old town but the buses are easy to navigate and regular. Staff very friendly, willingly explained things about Dubrovnik in good English upon our arrival. Would probably recommend.

The location is close to the busstation and harbour, and near the hostel is a busstop. So you can take it easy to the centre, only thing is that not every bus that is scheduled shows up. We were also very happy with the fresh clean towels that were present in the room.
