Kate's Guesthouse had the best view in the whole of Dubrovnik! Right at the top of the hill you can sit and watch all the boats come into port and the sunset. The bus station is only 2 min walk away and takes you in a big loop of the whole city. Old town is only a 30 min walk away or just as easy to jump on the bus. Shopping centre close and restaurants, bars just down the hill, walking distance. Apartment had good cooking facilities etc. definitely recommend! Very helpful and beautiful place.

It was a very good hostal! The rooms where big and clean, and you had everything you needed. The only problem that is far away from the old town to go walking, but there is a bus that you can get. I will deff recommend it

The view from the hostel is extremly beautiful as it is located on top of the mountain! However, given that, it takes around 40min by foot to arrive to the center (tip: dont go by foot). There is a bus station around 200m from the hostel, and you can also easily reach the center in 10min (bus ticket costs 12kn). Kate does not speak english but you can communicate with hand signs - she is really lovely! Kitchen and bathroom are shared with the other room but all facilities are very clean.

Fantastic views but a solid 20-40mins bus ride and 40mins walk to Old Town. The owner of the place does not speak English. Very, very few words-hand gestures are great. Signs to the location are small along the road and the house sign itself is hard to find. Facilities were good to have but there was a wet dog smell(possibly the couch) when we entered and the inside of the fridge was mouldy, the stove top took a lifetime to boil water and there are A LOT of stairs if you choose to walk.

Our stay was amazing. The balcony view is beautiful and or host, even if she did not speak english, made or stay are easy and comfortable as possible. She is so sweet, she let us leave our bagd at her home. We were able to socialize with the other guests. It is quite easy to get to the Old Town either by walk (40min) or by bus which runs every 10min.

Kate was very nice but doesn't speak any English. The hostel was clean and the facilities like the kitchen and bathroom were good. The location wasn't very good, it's high up the mountain/hill so you have to walk up a lot of steps in the daytime which can be really hard when it's 33 degrees! The area is connected well to the Old City by regular buses. The town is quiet but pretty, not much to do at night so recommend going to the old city at or staying in the old city if you want good nightl
