The owners' English was very limited, so it was hard to communicate. However, the owners were extremely kind and Kate even walked us out of the house to show us the bus stop. When I declined free juice and tea, she brought out a bottle of vodka - yes, I had 2 shots. The place is clean and the view is incredible. The bus stop is 1 minute walk away and the ride to the city center takes 10-15 minutes.
very nice view of Dubrovnik, and very worthy of the money. You can see the sea and city full view. Well, because it's on the hill, there are lots of stairs if you choose to walk. But it goes bus every 30mins. The host is very nice, she give me the tomato of her own garden which was much more tasty than the supermarket.
Amazing views! Language barrier but that's fine, still lovely people! So many stairs so be prepared or catch the bus. All facilities are good!
The lady was very kind, the place is very good, clean and it has a good kitchen. Above all, the views are amazing from there and it is very near to the bus station, and near the bus that takes to the bus station and the city centre.
A very clean and well-appointed hostel in the hills overlooking the old city. A bit of a hike down or else a bus which comes hourly. The couple who run the hostel are very kind and caring and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Note they don't speak English so brush up on your Croatian :-)
Beautiful view up the top of the hill. Close to the bus stop to get to town but if you want to go to the closest shops it is a steep hike back. We got a ride to and from the port and even though they can hardly speak any English we really enjoyed our stay. We got to do some proper washing, make some dinner and watch the sunset.
Excellent. Kate and her family went out of their way to welcome us, providing cold drinks after we walked up the massive hill in 40C weather with our luggage and minding our luggage the next day while we went out. The room was clean, excellent value and with one of the most amazing views I've ever seen in 15 years of backpacking. Quiet but close to the bus station, which was what we wanted. We were welcomed like family here and would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Dubrovnik.
Kate and her husband were such a kind and caring people. It is like going to stay at your Grandparents place. The view from the house is beautiful. Only suggestion is do not walk up the stairs to Kate's place with your bags.
We had a lovely stay at Kate's guesthouse. We were welcomed by Kate and her husband (who spoke little English but were lovely!) with coffee and biscuits on the balcony. The accommodation is spotless and well maintained. Kate did a load of washing for us for free and we enjoyed the stunning views from the balcony and did some cooking in the kitchen. Only downside is location- bus needed to get to the old town. However a daily ticket is cheap (30kn) and efficient.
Kates was very nice, I liked that it was away from the main part of town. It had a beautiful view and was easy to get to, right on the main road. The room was spacious and Kate and her husband were very kind.
The apartment is beautiful, the owners, even thought they don't speak english are very nice and helpful. It is located a little far from the old town, but it has an Amazin view of Dubrovnik. Besides the area is very quiet. It is perfect for a relax holiday.

Very nice stay here! We had the entire apartment to ourselves. Great location for us as we didn't want to be right in The old town, but it was super easy to get to- could even walk. Kate and her husband are super nice as well, would definitely recommend! Thanks.
