Great little apartment with an outstanding view. Decor older, but everything functional. Bus runs every half hour to town, not every five or ten minutes like I thought I had read in an earlier review.

We were not sure if we should stay here at start because we knew that this guesthouse wasn't close to old town, but once we got there we realized that going to old town was really easy because the bus stop is just five minutes away and it takes about ten minutes to get there. It was also very clean and really safe and for us, who were staying at hostels all the time it was a really nice change and for a very good price. Also you are going to enjoy a beautiful sunset every afternoon.

I was very pleased when I arrived at Kates place. The room was vey big and clean and had a fantastic view. As soon as we arrived Kate had us sit down with her and her husband for a roast lunch! Very sweet. Though she speaks no English she goes out of her way to help in any way she can. We weren't staying in Dubrovnik for long so preferred being close to the bus station rather than the old town. We did get a bit lost on our first return journey but I believe that was our own fault.

Nice hostel. The owners were so swett, they give you food and juice when ypu get there. The only bad thing its that its no close to the old city, but just one minute to the apartment its the bus stop that takes you to the old Town.

Really enjoyed my stay here, would definitely stay again. Great value for money and kate was really nice, giving us free fruit and veg, and coffee (and shots!) when we arrived. There are buses if you don't want to walk up the steps to the guesthouse.

Hosts were lovely, they invited us in for coffee and juice when we arrived. It was just a shame that they couldn't speak English. The view from the terrace is beautiful but the walk to get the view is not. Buses are definitely needed to get around. Comfortable accomdation and good facilities though.

A lovely hostel run by a lovely couple however the location is not good for two young female travellers. It was far from the main old town and travelling back at night felt very dangerous.

Kate's guesthouse was amazing. There is a shared lounge area with a TV and a kitchen area for self-catering. There is also air-con in this room. The rooms were very spacious, includes wardrobe space etc Kate was friendly shared lunch with us and told us how to get to old town. The location is good as you can get a bus to the old town or bus station. The views from the balcony are excellent. The guesthouse was very clean and homely I would recommet staying here in Dubrovnik.

This place has amazing views, but its at the top of a hill so hard work walking up to find it - definitely get the bus or a taxi! The owners don't really speak English but were very welcoming and made coffee for us when we got there, and let us do washing. There is a little kitchen with all that you need. A good deal for the one night we were in town!

Great place to stay. Was even offered tea and spent a bit of time with the owners. This is not a 5 stars hotel but is the right fit to stay in Dubrovnik. If you are looking for a place that is not too far away this is the right spot for you. Thank you again!

Fantastic place to stay. Arrived and the gorgeous old couple invited us in for a cup of tea and biscuit felt just like home! The view is amazing too and it's a nice quiet area. Would definitely return again!

100 stars! I'd definitely recommend this place. It's a bit of a walk from the old town (20-30 mins) with a big uphill but the views more than make up for it. We stayed only 1 night and had the whole place to ourselves when we went in early may, everything was perfect. In the morning they brought us breakfast and then we drove to the airport. Very convenient as we could park by the apartment and drive straight (literally) to the airport in 20 mins.
