When we arrived we were given the key to the room and that was it! No introduction, no map, nothing. The rooms were fine and we were provided with cups and cutlery and a fridge which was helpful. However, the bathroom did not have a proper shower and was not cleaned effectively enough. due to it being a hostel and a hotel it is hard to socialise at night as other hotel guests do not appreciate noise past 10pm, however if you are looking for a warm environment and a quiet place to stay this is it

There was the best gyro shop in the world about 500 meters away called Santo grill meating place. Chicken gyros were out of this world! The hostel was a great place to meet people, but there was a cranky permanent resident of the hostel who yelled at us for socializing in the common space at night. Good value for the price though

You get what you pay for really.

John and Katerina are both friendly and inviting, offering their home to store your bags as needed. The hostel was overall perfect for what we needed :)

Jon will pick you up and drop you off from the port which is super convenient! You just have to let them know at least a day in advance and they give you rides. We also thought our toilet was broken so we notified them and Jon came immediately! The only thing is that the hostel is a bit far from everything but we rented ATVs next door so it wasn't as big of a deal.

We arrived at 2 AM and they were waiting for us, we booked a room for three people and it was more than we expected, the room has A.C, security Box, fee wifi, private balcony and private bathroom, the hostel has pool, is clean and next to the bus station. If you ask something to the owner they will Help you. 100% recommended.

John was awesome.

The hostel was good value, especially given it's proximity to the beaches and bus stop in Perissa. However, it lacked an easily accessible reception area. This made it difficult to ask for information/book tours, etc. The hostel was not especially clean and the rooms were not in great condition which could be problematic for some travellers.

They were very helpful, pick us up and took us to the airport. In general good place for few nights.

The only thing that I struggled with was that the shower didn't have a curtain so water was splattered everywhere. Other than that this hostel was good for budget travelers and does have a nice pool. Location wise it is easy to access and find. Wifi doesn't work well in the rooms but is fine when outside. I would recommend!

Mate the pool was ideal! Also good sized lockers, you could store atleast 5 babies in there no bother.. But make sure to bring your own lock.

We booked this location based on the photos and the reviews given. Although I do thank John for collecting us, it's now 2am. We where told the place we booked 4 months prior was over booked. We where taken down the road to his brothers apartments. Nothing like what we had paid for. Next morning we walked up to actual hostel to then be moved further down the road to his sisters place. Santa Maria. Again bed was awful. Pots but no stovetop. Mugs no jug. Overall very disappointed.

Good value for money. Handy location. You'd need to hire quad bikes no matter where you stay on the island, so it's better to stay somewhere like here to save some money to use on a quad bike. Rooms are a little old, but it was fine for me. I would stay here again

Friendly owners, value for money

This hostel was impossible to find, the instructions are so minimal and it isn't where the online map says it is. There is almost no signage so we ended up walking past it! The pool of was small and dirty, the rooms had aircon but where not cleaned, neither were the bathrooms. Our toilet paper was never replaced. The only good thing is that is was close to Perissa beach and right next to a quad bike and scooter hire. Other than that would not recommend.

Generally good except there was only running salt water.

Cozy, simple and good location in Thira. Owner are friendly and the facilities was good.

The hostel part of the hotel was pretty filthy. The bathroom was horible, toilet seat was broken. The room I stayed in didnt have a lock on the door and the dluble bed was actually 2 singles bolted together. There was also no fan in our room it was ridiculously hot. I contemplated sleeping outside. The pool was the only good part

Katherine and John are very nice, they are doing their best with the English they have. Nice place to stay, good location close to 24 hrs bakery (not good but anyway) and a grocery store. The room was ok, but the matress was the worst I ever slept on! And I slept in 5$ a night hostel...! It seriously deserve to be burn! I tried another bed in another room and it was the same thing. They cleaned my room only 2 times on 5 days. But other than that, a nice place and they have a pool. No credit card
