Property Information:
We are the only Youth Hostel in Nepal affiliated with International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF).
At NYHC We provide customize services. Make your own itinerary for your tour & trekking. Just you tell us what and where you want experience in Nepal, - we will work it out Nepal special for you.
NYHC has its affiliated Hostels in Pokhara and Nagarkot also. They are:
Niva Niwa Lodge - Nagarkot
Hotel Mayur - Pokhara
Reservations for the Pokhara and Nagarkot can be made through our office in kathmandu.
We are really centrally located, just take 20 minutes to all the transportation terminals like airport, railway station, and coach bus terminal.
Opening times
Main hostel open throughout the year. 24 hours.
Reception open , 07:00 - 22:00 hrs.
Rooms and Reservations
Reservations are required prior to arrival to avoid disappointment. Reservations through Hostel or National Office by telephone, fax or e-mail. Main hostel is non-smoking.
Guests
Passport or ID required. Group booking directly through National Office or Hostel by telephone, fax or e-mail.
Meals
National Office provides Bed and Breakfast. Other hostels have choice.
Airport Pick up and Drop
The rate is $ 3.50 before 9:00 P.M. and after 9:00 P.M. $ 5.50.
We provide 10% discount in room rates to all Hostelling International (IYHF) members travelling with HI Membership Card.
SPECIAL OFFER
'One day tour and sight scene to Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur city including Bed & Breakfast with transportation and guide service for 4 persons package only ---US $150 (This price includes your's 10% service charge).

the staff are very kind and helpful. but I have to point out that the map of the location of the hostel is wrong. it is actually quite near the airport, rather than in the downtown near Thamel.
