About Kawaichiya Ryokan
Kawaichiya Ryokan is a Japanese style inn located in Nozawa Onsen (Hot Spring), one of the largest and most popular ski resorts in Japan as well as a popular onsen site. Throughout the Nozawa Onsen, there are about 30 different type of hot springs and there are 13 public hot spring baths that can be used free of charge! Soaking in an onsen will help you relax after an enjoyable day!
We offer free breakfast. It is good to have a nice meal since you do not have to go out for foods early in the morning!
Kawaichiya also have 2 different kinds of hot springs. The onsen sources are OGAMA and SHINYU in Nozawa Onsen.
We have Japanese-style guest room with tatami mats and Japanese/Western combo guest room. We have total of 30 guest rooms.
Wireless LAN is available around the Front Desk.
Upon request, we serve local dishes such as local beef.

Kawaichiya is located in the center of Nozawa Onsen.
Take the Shinkansen bullet train for Nagano on the Nagano Shinkansen Line (1 hour and 20-40 minutes). Next take the Iiyama Line to Togari Nozawa Onsen (1 hour) and from there a bus or taxi to Nozawa Onsen. There are also a few direct buses from Nagano Station (East exit).
