Kayun is a diamond in the rough. Not only was Allwin (spelling? the receptionist) amazing, she was very kind and understanding. For my trip, I rented a private room and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and security. It has its own AC unit and a safe. The only thing I didn\'t care too much for was the hot water issue. Though it is clearly stated that hot water is a precious commodity, I still wished it wasn\'t an issue at all. Overall-IT IS AMAZING!! I\'ll stay there again when I go back

Nice place, cute hotel-like rooms. 10-mins walk to the beach, so a bit far.

The hotel was really beautiful and the staff was so helpful. The pool was a really nice place to hang out and the lobby is right in the middle of the hostel so it is really easy to meet everyone.

The hostel was clean and the staff friendly. It is on a busy street and loud during the day. Can get own room someplace else for the same price as the dorm.

Amazing! If you are looking for a place to stay in the kuta area pick here or you'll miss out! Staff are super helpful, kind and pay attention to you. It is the best hostel option compared to others in the area, and within walking distance to everything. Super clean and spectacular facilities. I will definitely be coming back.

Its located on the noisy main street in to Kuta, probably a little quieter in the girls and private dorms. Other then the noise from the street the door entry makes a stupid beeping noise every time someone comes through. The place was very clean and the breakfast good.

It was a pleasant hostel to stay in. I liked the design. The double room was a bit small though. For the same price we could have stayed in a 3 star hotel with a bigger room and free pool towels. But other then that a very nice hostel, friendly staff and convenient location.I would recommend it to my friends.

The fact that there was someone building cupboards right outside our door at early hours of the morning or in fact at anytime of the day is unacceptable and therefore had a major negative impact on our stay.

The facilities were great, the atmosphere was okay. The worst thing about the whole place is that you cannot trust the cleaners!!!!!! We clearly packed our backpacks the day before leaving and when we came back from our day from the beach, one of our bags had been gone through as they left some of our belongs hanging out. My backpack was also moved around the room for no reason. This happened on a few occasions, as the cleaners, "clean" the rooms each day. Lost trust in the hostel for sure.

Its hard to believe this is called a hostel, compared to all the hostels and bed & breakfasts I stayed at in Europe. Great location, modern design, clean and very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

very centrally located hostel, super clean. We stayed here twice in dorms and private room.preferred the dorms as they were far more spacious, well laid out and obviously cheaper!private rooms were fine, but extremely small. The twin beds are like steps of a ladder and on top of each other, barely room to walk around the beds as u are walking over your bags!pool was gorgeous, really chilled out common area thats great for meeting ppl.communal bathrooms are very clean, good showers.staff helpful!

Too expensive for a hostel and definitely too loud (the street, the people, the tv in the lobby,...). but clean, stylish and close to the important places in kuta.
