The hot shower in one of our two rooms did not work, we were offered to change room, but declined because it was not a big deal. However the aircon was missing the blade to direct the airflow, pointing it in the face of anyone sleeping and it broke down the second to last day of our 5 night stay and was not repaired. Second to last day we also noticed cockroaches in the room. There is no Wifi. The location is ok, the beach is just a few paces away and the local main street in other direction.

Nice big and quiet rooms with terrace, staff is very friendly and helpful. No wifi, but you get the password for the hotel nearby. It even worked in our room. It's at walking distance from the main beach (Pantai Chenang).

A good place for a good price. Really value for money. A good place for people not needed a 3/4-star hotel.

Although we did have a very good time we were a little disappointed with this hostel. The basic double room was a decent size but there was no safe in our room and the room was only cleaned to a minimum standard. Our final night was in a the larger deluxe room which was definitely nicer with more places to put your things. As for the location we thought it was great. You are literally a 2minute walk to Pantai Tengah - and a 7 minute walk to Pantai Cenang.

We booked 5 nights upfront because it was the only ok rated available to relax a bit, but this was not relaxing at all. The place was really overrated, and we did not understand how people can like this place at all! the room was more of a closet, the aircondinioning almost comming of the wall, the toilet leaking, it wasn't even on the beach, ect. As we shopped around for another place, we found this new hostel for less on the beach. We also heard of other people moving over the same experience

This is a fine hostel, good location to beach and restaurants and it meets all the requirements but it is not one of the hostels you leave thinking 'wow gotta go back there' and that is because the rooms are just a little bit too used and worn down. The owner is very nice and very helpful and free breakfast is always good when travelling but the mattress on our bed was well worn down and the springs poked through. A little refresh of the rooms and it could be nice

They borrow the WiFi from another hostel so it is impossible to get signal from the room. However, there are a couple of cafes next door with free WiFi.
