Nicest place I have ever stayed at from hostelworld. Within 5 or 6 blocks of the Xisi metro station and close to all the great sights in Beijing. This hotel is 8 rooms that all lookout onto an enclosed courtyard. Kelly is extremely nice and helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxed atmoshphere in Beijing!

Best place ever! Excellent location, walking distance to major attractions, close to subway. Rooms are large and beautifully decorated, situated around an indoor courtyard perfect for relaxing or socializing with other guests. The owner John is truly amazing. He will provide you with any info needed to make sure you can make the most out of your stay in Beijing. We followed his advice to go to the Great wall independently and had a blast! Thanks again for an amazing time in Beijing!

There are no words to describe the kindness and helpfulness of Zheng, Kelly and all the staff. That is why I have extended my stay here and will surely come back many times too. Do not miss this very special place!

Owner was incredible - I had the opportunity to spend an unforgettable hike on the great wall.. because the owner wrote directions in Chinese, made sure I left at the right time and guided me through a process that included hiring a driver in Chinese at a bus stop 1 hour outside of Beijing. The stay would not have been the same without Kelly's Courtyard.

Our short stay at Kelly's Courtyard was truly a memorable one. It is a cute & typical Chinese home with its courtyard, located in the Hutongs that characterize Beijing. It is well-positioned in the city & easy to find (despite what a few have said); if one can read a map, one can find this hostel. It's just a short walk away down Xisi metro station! We agree with the previous comments concerning Bob; he's really hospitable, helpful & thoughtful! It is really worth staying at when in Beijing! :)

Staying at Kelly's courtyard is one of the right decision we have made for our Beijing trip. Location is easily accessible to subway and eateries, main attractions are nearby. It feels like a homestay. Bob, the caretaker has been a great help and provided us great tips, which has made our stay more enjoyable and memorable. Tks alot, bob! Overall, it has been a splendid stay experience!

I had a very nice time at Kelly\'s Courtyard. The staff was very helpsul and the atmosphere was very nice too. I was there in winter but I can imagine in summer the roof terrace must be amazing. I had the best night sleep in a very long time as it is so calm an quiet that nothing is disturbing you.

We stayed at Kelly's for 6 nights in December and found it to be very cozy, clean and a respite from hectic Beijing. Bob made our stay most definitely, he organized train and Opera tickets for us, as well as our daily itinerary and a ttrip to the Great Wall where we were the only ones for the first hour. Bob is Amazing, his restaurant suggestions and detailed transport directions were impeccable.Bob also recommended a local tea shop to us, where we had a great experience. Bob is one of a kind!

our stay at kelly's courtyard was simply amazing. it is conveniently located and offers us the peace and quiet much needed after the long day. Bob is such a wonderful host and was always there to offer his assistance and help in all aspects such as finding the best way to travel to a particular place and recommending places to eat . Honestly speaking it is one of the best hostel that I've stayed throughout my various travels in Asia

We arrived in this hotel at night and the first impression was very great. We found that place very charming with the main court surrounded with all the rooms. The hotel as well as the rooms are very clean and the personnel are really nice. A great thank to Bob, responsible of the hotel for his advices, support and help during our stay to organize our visits or to answer our questions. I would strongly recommend this hotel for the people who are looking for a peacefull and traditional place.

The hostel is surprisingly clean and very well-decorated. I love the design of the room! Our room was cleaned every day. There were free yummy english breakfast with a variety of bread and beverages (tea, coffee, juices). The wi-fi was working well and heater was provided. Bob is very hospitable and friendly. He goes all the way out to assist us by booking our trip to Great Wall of China and also ask for feedback whenever we return from a trip. I love our stay there! We stayed for 6 days!^^

Not easy to find, but once you get there well Worth it. For European standards quite a bargain but after having spent two weeks in China I have realised that it is rather pricey!!
