We were JOGLE cyclists at the end of a very nasty, rainy and windy day and were very warmly greeted and given a cup of tea. We were given the use of a bath not in our room to ease the legs and had a wonderful Thai meal just across the road. A lovely stay.

Kristina and Jan are absolutely brilliant in helping you plan your stay in the Lake District. The hostel itself is a beautiful old building with plenty of character. One minor quibble - the Wi-Fi doesn't quite reach the rooms; very minor issue though. I would unreservedly recommend this place as a gateway to the Lakes.
