We had a great stay. The highlight - a very friendly, welcoming and laid back proprietress who provided helpful information about local walks. The hostel is nestled in next to an arts centre and has great vibes with a cosy lounge and pool table area.

Had a lovely time. Location is excellent!!

Hostel was nice and clean and the kitchen and dining area were nice. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that there weren't many outlets in rooms but other than that it was great. Would definitely stay again!

nice staff, easy to find good location

The location of the hostel is really good, right in the town centre. What shocked me a bit was, that my friend's duvet cover was covered in cat fur - unacceptable. Also, the cat in the hostel is allowed to walk wherever it pleases (that means also on the tables in the dining room). The facilities where okay although a bit old. The water pressure in the shower was basically non-existent.

An older crowd of guests there for day trip hiking. Not much socialising.

Good place , Very convenient position in the centre , Friendly and outgoing staff nothing is a problem, beds are also pretty comfy and hostel warm and full of useful facilities.

The staff are very friendly & helpful, giving me useful information about the surrounding area. The general atmosphere was great, although it is a somewhat old building with uneven floors & creaking stairs. The reception is only open for a few hours in the morning and then at night, which I thought is quite a nuisance. I would suggest for it to be open throughout the day, or else give instructions to open the main door so that those who arrive outside the opening hours can store their luggage
