The female receptionist is very cold to Chinese customers, not helpful at all! she's the worst person I met in Taiwan!!

Cheap & nice...the hostel is recently opened, so it\'s very clean and nice. The owner has put efforts in designing and decorating. Located in Kending Street, just near the main bus station. I think it\'s a very good choice.

the rooms were small but comfortable. a tv and computer was provided. but there was only national tv channels provided so it would be hard to watch tv if you dont know mandarin. free wifi provided. it's next to kfc and there is night market just in front of the hostel.

My biggest complaint is that the address is TOTALLY wrong on this site, No. 17 Kenting Rd. is another (awesome) youth hostel located in a temple! Other than that, place is super new, clean and nice…located right at the beginning of the busiest section of town and close to walking/hiking in the pretty mountains and near the big white gate at the front of town.

Very good place!s!! Rooms are small, but very clean, and first of all- incredibly cheap! Location excellent, just next to the KFC (anybody familiar with Kending knows where it is), u can rent a scooter downstairs, just need a license(I recommend to go the store on the left side, coz they r cheaper). For backpackers, who dont want to pay 800-1600nt per nite, just perfect choice!

Hostel only allowed deposit of luggage till 3pm, which could cause a bit of inconvenience to tourists who are only leaving in the evening.

The only (yet announced) inconvenience are the business hours of the staff. But they were happy to help out outside their working hours.

Basic hostel, very safe, clean. Good location for cycling and going to the beach. Manager had little english but his female staff was very helpful. :) Travelled alone and felt very safe- enjoyed my time.
