we booked and payed for a 5-bed room, but they just put 3 more matresses on the floor and rented the room to 8 people - and the room was DEFINITELY too small for 8 people..we hrdly had a chance to get to our beds without stepping on the matresses.we booked and payed for a 5-bed room, but they just put 3 more matresses on the floor and rented the room to 8 people - and the room was DEFINITELY too small for 8 people..we hrdly had a chance to get to our beds without stepping on the matresses....Close

The people of the staff were friendly and flexible: I arrived at 7 in the morning, as I had to take the night bus. They helped me getting breakfast, taking a shower and having a fresh bed! I was totally happy about their help, so they have awarded the 100% excellence. The people of the staff were friendly and flexible: I arrived at 7 in the morning, as I had to take the night bus. A lovely little hostel. Had a very homely feel to it.Could have done with more bathrooms, as there was only one shower/wc for all the rooms. But BE WARNED, this hostel is not easy to find- the instructions we followed from the train station were pretty rubbish. We had to do a lot of detective workto find the place (including asking locals). And learn your Cyrillic alphabet so you can decipher street signs!!!I\'d recommend looking up the location on a map before you get to Sofia.A lovely little hostel. The hostel was very difficult to find and was kind of far from the centre of town, but was a lovely building and the dorms were big and clean. The staff was also really friendly (they even went out and got me a veggie breakfast when there were none left)and the hostel was quite atmospheric. It was nice and quiet and the other guests were lovely. It is a good place to stay if you are looking for a place to base exploring Sophia from, but not really a party hostel.
