Nice hostel but do not expect too much. The reception people were nice but you definitely need earplugs as everyone in the shared rooms are on different timelines. Every moment of the day, someone is walking in and out of the room and the door has to slam to shut properly.

I only spent one night. Stayed at room Omega 6 and IT COULD NOT BE NOISIER! Apart from the area being very loud and noisy the whole night, there was some water/plumbing sounds coming from right outside the window. Very hard to fall asleep if you don't have a very heavy sleepiness. And the toilet was all watery... wet floor, small and not very clean. The location is good considering is next to Kings Cross but as London is a huge city, try to stay at quieter places.

Travelling with my daughter on a budget, this was my first hostel experience. Clean, very convenient to Kings Cross Station and getting around London. Desk staff very helpful. "Free" Wifi was an issue since it was only available in very limited areas of building, and access to those areas was limited. Charge converter had to be purchased, not borrowed, which my daughter said was not the case in her other hostel stays. Room was clean, very secure access.

Ordered a triple room, but it turned out to be a double with a single bunk on top. Very disappointed at that. Breakfast should have been included, but when we went down in the morning a member of staff stopped us said unless we were a group, we couldn't have breakfast. Apparently the kitchen is "in pieces" so they couldn't do anything for us. We were told we could go to the cafe next door for a "heavily discounted rate". This cafe was really nice, but it was only a 10% discount. Not happy.

We only wanted somewhere to crash after a gig so it was nice to have the option of staying at the hostel without paying ridiculous prices. It wasn't amazingly flash but it didnt need to be and it was in a great location for our Camden gig.

I stayed only a night and it was much convenient for me. About two blocks from St. Pancra's. Excellent for ones that need to take an early train. Although I had to bring my big bags upstairs, it was excellent. Breakfast is no longer served, but good food can be found all over neighborhood.

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback! We have indeed cancelled the catered breakfast, but opened guest kitchen and common room with free wifi. It's great to know you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you back again! Best, Nika

Frustrating that wifi was advertised free and was not in reality free. The lack of a promised breakfast was also disconcerting. The lack of care from desk staff was palpable.

Hi there, Thank you for your comment. The breakfast was suspended for a short time when the conversion or kitchen was taking place. We now have guest kitchen and common room with free wifi open daily from 7am-11pm and provide basic self-sevice breakfast. We apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused. Kind regards, Nika

I really enjoyed my stay at the Keystone Hostel! The staff were great and went to great lengths to accommodate me, especially Shannon who gave me some great information on things to do and see in London. The beds are really comfortable and the Backpack Bar is fun. Would stay here again!

The lack of cooking facilities and the lack of any lifts were the only real downfalls to the place. But apart from that it wasn't too bad.

The location of the hostel is perfect. It was clean and you got sheets for the bed, which was really nice. We had a 2-bed-deluxe-room, which was the smallest room I've ever seen. Shared bathroom with some other rooms, was clean and ok to use most of the times. Check-in Check-out easy and fast. Breakfast was a joke. We could eat oranges, the rest was un-eatable. Absolutly disgusting. My review may sound bad, but I would recommend the Hostel, and I would book there again.

Hi there, Thanks for your feedback! It's great that you enjoyed your stay here. I see you caught the short end of our breakfast, right before the development work started. After the initial work finishes we will again offer free self-service breakfast together with the more diverse choice we're offering from this week on in the Station Cafe just next door. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience you've experienced. We do hope you come visit us again! All the best, Nik

Just provide free wifi. Calculate the costs for it in the price for a bed. No additional fees would be much appreciated.

Hi there, Thank you for the suggestion. We don't think it'd be fair to put the room/bed prices up to provide free wifi. Instead we launched free wifi on ground floor for all guests without raising our prices. The internet in rooms and the use of computers will stay as it is. All the best, Nika
