Breakfast was pretty good. Location is excellent, very close to underground. Friendly staff. The only negative think was that the room had an awful smell of mold, coming from the bathroom. Furthermore, the pillows were too thin, but being so tired walking the whole day at the end they weren't much problem.

I didn't like the way the second night of the stay I came back to find that someone had taken my bed and was in it. The after approaching the reception they gave me another bed which was also clearly being used. It makes me wonder if they beds are being cleaned between users?

Although a little cold in the night, the room was comfortable, clean and spacious. We felt comfortable leaving our bags in the storage rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. My family and I were very impressed and have recommended it to friends! We will surely stay there again on our next London trip! Thanks for a great stay guys!

Overall a pleasant stay. The beds were comfortable, the staff were very helpfull and friendly. The only glitch was the poor state of bathroom/shower areas, and the cold food for breakfast.

The room was very small and had nothing in it except for the bunk beds. This was fine for a short stopover but was a bit claustrophobic at times. Overall, the hostel was adequate for the money but it wasn't amazing.

Room without windows, can always hear the underground. Staff was not really friendly, only one of them was helpful. Only two tiny showers per corridor. Location was good, good tube connection. WiFi only if you have purchased a drink in the bar.

Did the job, a little overly hot & the thermostat was not operational, the noise from the street sometimes was over-bearing & we were in the basement, so no natural light, but no complaints.

Just stayed the one night, the location is great for onward journeys from the near by train stations. It has all the facilities you need and was clean but you could hear the rumble of the underground from the basement rooms. On the whole it was a good hostel to stay :)

Pros: Very close to King's Cross; easy to find. Very polite staff. Decent breakfast (cereals, toast, fruit, bacon, sausages, tea/ coffee) included. Comfortable bed and clean bed linen. Hot water available late, good water pressure in the showers (even on the 3rd floor). Cons: impossible to find the light switch in the shower on the third floor (I had to use a flashlight). The communal showers on the first floor have no hooks or shelves, and could have been cleaner. Overall: will stay again.

Really comfortable beds, and a fantastic location approx 2 blocks (2 min walk) from kings cross station. No free wifi which was frustrating, but there is a Starbucks down the road that offers wifi for free and is open until about 10pm. Unfortunately the staff were the most incompetent group of people I've ever dealt with in a hostel. A bit of staff training in basic policies and procedures would make this hostel a much better place.

The hostel was good overall: clean, excellent location and at a reasonably good price. However, the walls seem made of paper and even though we paid for a "Deluxe" room the noise from other rooms and from the bar was notorious. Internet wi-fi is not free, which I think is essential these days and difficult to understand having to pay for it...
