Very good!! Gaime is so friendly and helpful. Simple place but everything you need. It's close enough to Khoa San Road you can walk but far enough that its not too loud. Close to temples etc too.

Although I would have enjoyed the stay much more had there been air conditioning it wasn't necessary the atmosphere made up for it and so did the staff. The availability and precision of the staff made the stay all worth while.

Great Hostel. Like staying in a Thai home with all mod cons. Run by very nice people. Just a short walk from Khaosan Road so you have the area close at hand with having to live in the chaos allowing a nice night's sleep.

Lovely and clean, we booked for a private twin and were upgraded to a bigger room woth four beds (and it was only us in the room the entire time!). Room was super peaceful which we were after as we wanted our own space to relax. Staff were really friendly and helpful..would definitely recommend.

We had a very pleasant stay here. Room was very clean and simple. Staff were incredibly helpful and spoke good English which suited uncultured tourists like us! One very slight negative is the walls are quite thin so at night you can hear anyone who is up later than you. But tremendous value for money for a friendly place to stay within 10 minutes walk of the Khao San Road.

Its nice to stay here especially if your goal is to go to JJ market (chatuchak) . Its one ride by bus. Its also near to the party place where you can chill out.

The guy who's owning it and working there is great! Really helpful and nice. The rooms are ok, nothing special to them. Clean, but simple.

Quaint little place-central to shops, river etc. Very helpful lady at desk. Would stay there again.

The lady who owns it is lovely and was very helpful, breakfast was yummy, the room was adorable (love the different colour options), bed comfy and we had a balcony. Shared a bathroom but was not a problem. Good location as it was not too close to Koh San Rd that it was noisy, like a 10min walk.

The hostel is great value for the money. The rooms are situated in nice renovated old teak house. THe location is great - close to Khao San, but quiet enough for sleeping. The only thing I didn´t like was that you can hear all the noises in the house, because it is wooden, so sleap after 7 a.m. is almost not possible, when another guests are starting to wake up. But I liked the place very much and I can recommend it to anybody. It is very hard to find so good place for this money in Bangkok.

Excellent little place, value for money. The staff were very helpful (even when we came there a second night and there was no roomm, they helped us find another place). The rooms are lovely with a lot of character.

Now we are the second time in Khaosan Baan Thai and we always feel welcome here and enjoy our stay. We will come back again in about 4 weeks.

So brace yourselves guys, for possibly the best place to stay in bangkok. It's not grand, it's not shiny but it's so genuine. SungSung, the reception manager is one of those soals you'll always remember. This was the first place we stayed in Bangkok, and I could not have asked for a better introductory experience. Would reccomend this place to anyone.
