We booked a double deluxe room and as soon I steped in it was the biggest dissapointment of my vacation. The all room looked filth, the walls written all over, graffities everywhere, holes in the walls and ceiling which you don't want to think what it might came out of there cause there were big enough to fit rats. the mattress was rock hard and the sheets stained. the mat was still wet and the whole room was damp.

Good hostel, well located and staff were very friendly. The room was basic and mattress was a bit hard but was very cheap so can't complain too much!

The people at reception were very very nice. I got in at about 6am from a nightbus and they let me check in at 8am! So pleased with that! Maybe I was just in the wrong room at an awkward time, but the people in my room/the hostel were pretty blah. I found it hard to meet people so I switched hostels. Oh yeah, it's right across the street from Gazebo nightclub, which can be a good or bad thing depending if you plan on sleeping or not.

Excellent location if you want to party, quick access to sites and to make friends - But it's right on Khaosan rd and it can get a bit much. For me it was perfect for a few days for the experience. Khaosan Road Rainbow Hostel has everything a budget backpacker would need - minus - comfort, character and atmosphere. But its what you make of the place that counts! I had a great time here :D

The Hostel was conveniently located. We arrived by bus from Siem Reip and it stopped in front of Khao San Road, the core of backpackers in Bangkok. However, our room was heading the road and it was too noisy.

apart from getting my phone stolen out of the room its a great hostel. the food and staff are excellent and right next to khaosan rd for nightlife and cheap shoppping. Dont expect much because you're in down town bangkok but if you're not fussy you'll enjoy it.

Very cheap place with nice staff. But the beds are super hard and uncomfortable! During the night it is getting very loud because of the bar on the other side of the street. On the wall next to my bed were some puke! Very unclean! Stay at an other place!

Don't expect too much. All your paying for it a place to rest in a good location. The beds and ROCK HARD. I've never felt anything like them in my life. The rooms and filthy and very very small. The location was great though, right at the end of Khaosan road. There was however a club right across the street that pumped it's load music till early in the morning so remember to bring your earplugs!! The Indian food in the restaurant downstairs was really good but also very expensive.
