My biggest problem comes when I’m trying to sleep. I couldn’t stand just how noisy the whole place is! The whole building seems to have been built out of cardboards. You’re constantly bombarded with a cacophony of noises and activities that seem to extend well beyond the night, from the chatter of your neighbours next door, to the opening and shutting of the doors.

First, place had a strong foot odor the entire 4 floors. I woke up with bedbug bites after the first morning. I was up from Kanagawa to look for work. I only needed the hostel to network and ask other people questions. The staff were pretty uninformed. I overheard one staff member tell a guest she didn't know where a good sushi place was...a Japanese working in Asakasa could not recommend a sushi place? That's part of why people stay at hostels. Definitely this place need some changes.

I stayed in a dormitory type room with 8 beds and it was fine, certainl value for the money. Though I think that the rooms need to be renovated. Could be better, but it was certainly good enough. Location was also good. Staff is very kind and nice and the atmosphere was very good. I recommend it!

Bare essentials of what you\'d expect from a hostel. Staff are nice and friendly, location is annoying train it to Asakusa then walk around 20min east. Also rooms are quite small.

We stayed in a double room on the first floor which had an extremely strong odour of water damage/mould which did not disperse. There was only one bathroom and toilet in the private area the rest were in the open reception/common room area. One staff member was friendly (upon checkout) otherwise the rest seemed quite disinterested. We are fairly flexible with accomodation standards, but for the money we paid it did not meet expectations, especially compared to the other accomodation in Tokyo.

Meets the Khaosan reputation. (stayed at the one in Kyoto as well). The capsule dorm feels like a coffin especially when the door is closed. Can get a bit stuffy at night but you get good nights sleep with little distraction (not sound proof but good enough). Lots of people to talk to and there's an affiliated bar down the street that is worth a visit.

The Khaosan chain throughout Japan does not disappoint for providing modern hostels in great locations with lots of tourist info. Just like Japan, everything is very small and very efficient. Good size bunk beds, could have a few more washroom facilities, although they were spotless!

It was a very good place to stay, very friendly ! Room, bathroom and all were okay, it easy to sleep there. Unfortunately wifi wasn't working very well and some guests were weird but like all guest houses, but if I have to come back, I'll come back again without problems ;) !

This place was a good place to stay in. I was really happy with it. Only issues: Not enough showers or toilets. No dryers, but the laundry mat is really close.

Everything was fine. Dorms were fairly cramped but each bed has a curtain across it so there's at least a little privacy. A bit of a walk from main Asakusa attractions but I was also able to just go to Sky Tree on a whim because I felt like it. Unfortunately, the night I was there, the television and computers sort of sucked the social atmosphere out of the room. Then again, it was also a Monday. Anyway - easy, affordable, clean enough (though a little cramped). A good hostel.

The bathrooms are not the best ever, and some beds don't have personal reading lights. Otherwise, nice location (with bike rentals nearby!), and reasonable price for Tokyo.

This hostel is pretty worn out, and the quality of facilities and rooms is pretty low. The Wi-Fi was very flaky, and often we couldn't even connect. I wouldn't stay here again.

The hosstel in itself is clean and everything but quite old. And unfortunately it is quite far from the heart of Tokyo. But the staff is nice and speak english very well.

This hostel is the hostel in Tokyo to meet people and hangout. I wish they would shave about 200 yen of the nightly price though. Facilities are clean and lobby area is great to interact with people. Superb internet. The female staff are very nice. The male staff are nice as well however, the male staff seems to go through small fits of depression sometimes that makes you want to avoid them at times.

The hostel was so run down, like a male dormitory. The carpet smelled bad. There was a dining area just outside our door, so when a raucous bunch of young men decided to have a party late at night, we were kept awake. The shower area was gross; used bandaids, cobwebs, grime and dust on a fan blowing back and forth.
