The staff are friendly and helpful, got plenty of information for visiting places around. Thank for Ken's good suggestion! The room in 1/F got a bit smell in the toilet, hope the air condition in the room could make some improvement . The bed is not that convinient to get on and sit. good roommates thought , Nice stay here .

Amazing staff and great location, 3 min from Asakusa Station one of the touristic points of the city. Stayed there for 5 days or so and love it. Highly recommended! There is other hostels from the same brand nearby in which they have a bar. The facilities are really good with a big kitchen and AC on the rooms. It's 1 hour/1100 Yen away from the Narita Airport.

Had a great stay at this hostel. Rooms were a good size and super clean, beds were comfy. In a great location and quick walk to the metro. Super easy to get from the airport we took the direct train right to Asakusa station. Would stay here again, the staff are really helpful and friendly!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Going to miss staying at Khaosan! Location - very very close to the Asakusa metro and links to the rest of Tokyo.

Indeed the number 1 hostel in Asia! I highly recommend this place, it is very comfortable, clean, social and the staff are super friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Location wise, Asakusa is a fantastic/vibrant location in Tokyo, about 20-30 mins to central Shinjuku/Shibuya by subway. Some reviews say it's too far away... nonsense. I met two people who moved to Shinjuku and but were ultimately disappointed and wished they had stayed at Khaosan. It's the perfect place/area to stay!

Great friendly staff that was extremely helpful with pointing us towards points of interest and aiding us in navigating the beast that is Tokyo. Very clean. The location isn't the best for going out at night but there are still ample restaurants nearby and access to the metro was a cake walk.
