A fantastic hostel!! The location is great, right by sensouji. If you're looking for cheap food, an Ozeki supermarket is right across the street. It's easy to get around to other parts of Tokyo from here since the metro is only a 5 minute walk away. The hostel itself is very clean and well kept, and it has the best common room I have seen in a hostel--people actually hangout in there! But the best part of the hostel is the staff. Super kind and helpful, and Eri-san is adorable! :]

We had a fabulous stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. They are really there for their customers and are thoughtful. We got a free upgrade to a private room too.

Excellent accommodation in an amazing part of town. Staff friendly and approachable, with good recommendations on where to eat and sites to visit (most importantly how to get there).

Very helpful staff, who gave us many recommendations on activities. Location isn't bad relative to public transit, but it is on the opposite side of town from Shinjuku and the like. I think we had some bad luck on the days we visited, because there were not too many people to socialize with. I see that most of the people who visit did not have this problem, so I don't blame the hotel for it. All in all, an excellent visit.

Great value for the money and the facilities are great. We were supposed to be in a four bed room and they moved us into a private two bed room for three nights, free of charge. The staff is so nice and very helpful with anything you may need. The only issue with the hostel is the location for the nightlife as it is a ~40 minute metro ride to the areas to go out and the metro closes at midnight. That means you must take a taxi home which are extremely expensive in Tokyo.

We only stayed for one night, but got a fantastic impression of the place. The location is great, and we had no trouble finding our way here. The staff was super friendly and spoke really good English, so even if you don't speak Japanese you'll be alright. You definitely get your money's worth at Khaosan Tokyo Kabuki!

Fantastic staff. They were always welcoming and very friendly and helpful. Common area has everything you will need. Located right next to metro station and busy shopping area. Only downside is that it is in Asakusa, which is on the Far East side of Tokyo area, but the metro can get you all over the city easily during normal metro hours. If you want to party late into the night, you will need to take a taxi or plan on being out until the metro starts back up around 530am.

It is very close to the Metro station, rooms are spatious and clean, common room is big and has everything you need. Staff are so nice and friendly, had nice chats with everyone, the recommended me the most amazing spots! Really felt like staying at a friends house. Thanks for everything :) - Ana from Portugal

It's a little bit noisy when you stay at first floor, cause the staff will be off at 1 am, and the noise of saying goodbye always wake us up. All the rest of them, it's excellent. Will come again.

good hostel. Location is pretty good but not amazing. It is near to a metro station but it's further north than I would like to be, if I were in Tokyo again. There are one or two things to do in the immediate area but most things are at least a 30 minute journey away. However I think it is probably difficult/expensive for a hostel to be closer to the main action in Tokyo, so you can probably not expect a better location for the price. Everything else about the hostel was very nice.

This was the best hostel we've ever stayed at. Never been somewhere with such friendly, genuine staff and such a great culture among the people staying there. We slept in the traditional Japanese style room, and the futons were incredibly comfortable.
