The staffs were very friendly & accomodating. The hostel facilities were great & all well maintained. The mixed dorm ensuite was big enough for 4 people. And the ensuite bathroom & toilet were clean. Location was superb since it's located in the heart of Asakusa. And very near to the subway. This hostel is highly recommended and very value of money! Thumbs up!

This is, hands down, the best hostel I have ever been in my life in every possible aspect, I strongly recommend to anybody who wants to visit Tokyo. The place is beautiful and functional, the staff is extremely nice and helpful, it is located 1 minute walking from the Kaminarimon gate and the Senso-ji temple and close to the main shopping street for souvenirs in Asakusa area, 2 minute walking from Asakusa metro station, it has ATM and supermarkets crossing the street... and so cheap! 11 over 10!

Can't say enough about this hostel! The location is great, and the security of the desk staff and the in-room lockers was very reassuring.

We loved the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness if the place, the fantastic recommendations posted all over the walls in the lobby and common room with computers for our use. Especially loved the free wi-fi! And lastly we thought the location couldn't have been better with close access to tons of food places, shops, the Sensoji temple, the subway, the JTB around the corner to book our JR pass reservations... And one hostess wrote us the sweetest thank you letter!

kabuki is a very nice hotel, quiet but located in the wonderful district of asakusa where you ll always find something to do. many shop few meters away. very nice and helpful staff. one of the cleanest hostel ive seen, the only thing we didnt like is that they dont clean the rooms -they dont empty the trashes- and you dont have a direct train to the airporr. otherwise its also a very cute place,we had the double room on the last floor and we loved it!i would recommand it definetely!

Stayed in 4f-dorm for one night. I came late, left early. Staff was helpful and friendly like all Japanese I've met so far. Room was clean and quiet and had lockers, bed was good and personal lights are nice. Location nice depending on what you want, f.ex. Roppongi and Tsukiji are far. And not too convenient for JR East pass holders since nearest station is metro. Had problems with WiFi but hostel's PC worked well. Based on one night I don't know why one wouldn't like this place :-)

My second time at a Khaosan hostel and still loving it! We arrived on a busy busy Saturday afternoon (religious Sanja Matsuri at Asakusa) and planned to rush to the sentou (public bath) before visiting. The staff told us it'd be too short and asked for the cleaning team to get our room ready earlier so that we could use the showroom. That really saved our day!!! A 5min walk to the sentou and to Sensoji temple, you really feel like a local there ! Nice common room and lovely staff.

Khaosan Tokyo was one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had a super early flight the day I had to leave and they helped me make sure I got to the airport on time. They even left me a lovely note that morning because no one was able to say goodbye in person! This hostel is clean, comfortable and conveniently located a short walk from the train. It's quite easy to get to and they provide maps for places all over Japan! Thank you, Khaosan!

This hostel was well situated right beside the outer gates of the Kaminarimon. It's a short 5-8 minute walk to the Tokyo metro Ginza line, making this place convenient to get to. We went for the double bed-room, and it was very clean. Sheets, shampoo and soap are all provided, and it's not very cramped, which was great for all our luggage. The staff is polite, helpful, energetic and friendly. I would recommend coming here again.

Hostel itself was very good, staff seemed friendly enough, the rooms were very good, each had own shower and bathroom, lockers in room, not big enough for actual large luggage such as suitcases, bags your and with, but good enough for valuables etc, and smaller day packs. beds were very comfy, overall very nice hostel, was here for 4 days, and had no problems, the free computers and wifi was also very nice, and greatly appreciated.
