Can be hard to sleep at times in the main room by the reception due to constant noise. Also the only train line near by goes to Tokyo station and has no fast access to Akihabara. Its about a 15 minute walk to Akiba, which is fine but after a long day of walking and you want to return to the hostel it can be quite annoying.

Really nice hostel for the price. Good location, clean bathroom, the only problem was the bedroom (too small).

Kimiko and staff were awesome to us especially after missing our overnight bus to Nagoya! Great place to stay for a few night and well connected to everything in Tokyo!

We stayed in a twin room and the room was a little small and due that there was no window in our room the air got sticky. However the hostel was very clean, the common area downstairs is huge and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the location is good to explore the electronic city and asakusa, but quite far away from Shibuya, if you have to catch a taxi after midnight.

My favorite hostal in Tokyo! Clean, close to the metro, nice staff. Best of all, it's the most social hostal I went to in Tokyo - the basement is a great place to meet other travelers and pregame before rolling out together.

The toilets and the rooms are clean. The staff are very kind and helpful! Also, the location of the hostel is very convenient with JR and metro lines within 5 mins walk. I would visit here again the next time I come to Tokyo.

we stayed here for 1 week in may 2012, we were so impressed with the facilities at the hostel, the cabin beds and private rooms were both really comfortable. The social aspect of the hostel was brilliant, the common room downstairs is seperated from the sleeping areas so there is usually drinking and parties going on most nights, its a really good way to meet other travellers, its very social. I would definitely stay here again and recommend ti to other travellers

Great place to stay! The hostel has lots of character, and a great common area downstairs for meeting people. The staff are all very friendly too. Maybe the best part were the bunks we stayed in...they are like capsules, but larger, and have sliding doors, so you can shut yourself in your little cabin bed and have all the privacy you want. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!d

The staff were extremely helpful here! One member of our party booked late and needed a place for the night and the staff called a list of hostels for us, arranged a hostel, gave us directions, and everything! Excellent!

quite a nice place for staying and easy location to go out and travel. The only thing kind of bothering is that in the carbinet room, it is quite easy to be disturbed by the people walked by espcially if you live in the bottom bed.
